Pen's Curse

"Hey buddy! Busy?!" Stella startled me, I realized that I stared at her for an hour while she was playing with the kids outside of our campus.

"No, I'm fine, I'm just thinking about- a poem" I said. "Is that poem pretty and cute like me?" Stella said with a cute face.

"My poems are prettier than you, Ste." I said with a teasing smile at my face

"Whatever, I know that I'm prettier than your poems that you dedicate to a wrong person," Stella said with teasing face

Her mouth has no breaks, that's real talk right there.

"Is that so?" I said with a serious face "then go home alone later" I said with a teasing voice.

"It's a joke budd, don't take it seriously" Stella said with a meek face.

I checked the time to see if the break time was done.

"Hurry up we need to go to our next class" I said

"Okay, wait gonna fix my things first and give this candy to them" Stella said while pointing to the children that were playing.

"Okay, just hurry up we're late" I said

We're now walking alongside the street to go to school. The cold air breeze touches our skin, the sunset that kisses our face, and the sea that keeps waving.

"What a nice day" Stella said in a relax tone of voice

"Yes, i agree but we're late Stella" i said to ruin her happy view.

"You know, you're so scared of many things, look at this view it's so nice and refreshing, just enjoy it Dave". Stella said while pointing her hands at the beautiful view.

"Alright, okay, I'll enjoy the view Ms. Stella" I said while mocking.

Minutes pass and we are still in silence, enjoying the view of this paradise, none of us talking or whispering until Stella breaks the silence.

"Dave, what's your greatest fear?" Stella asked out of the blue.

"And where the hell does that question come from? I asked

"From my mouth? Of course from me, is there someone here Dave?" Stella asked with a sarcastic tone.

"My greatest fear? Losing someone" I said with a sincere voice

"I see, so you're afraid to lose me? Yieeeeee hahaha" Stella said with a teasing face.

"Whatever bye." I said with a serious voice to tease her.

"Dave, it's a joke, hey!" Stella shout while running towards me

Yes, I'm afraid to lose you, all of them, even my family left me on the day they died. You're the only person I have, you're the only person that is there for me. So yes I'm afraid to lose someone like you.

"You won't leave me right? Unlike them?" I said with a serious tone of voice

"Unlike all of your ex girlfriends? Yeah, i won't leave you" Stella said

We face each other's eyes and laugh at each other. These memories of us will always be the happiest memories I'll keep in my heart.

"Skip class?" I asked

"Break the rules? G!" She answered
