"Mom? I'm heading out now okay?" You called out to your mother.

"Yep okay, i'll keep the back door unlocked for you!" You closed the door behind you. Your mother was so sweet to you, you loved her so much you couldn't imagine life without her. She had always supported you in everything you wanted to do. But stopped you from doing really stupid stuff... Which you're super thankful for.

You walked down the street, street lamps lighten sidewalk as the snow crunched under your boots. It was already dark out in summer the sun would still be up it's 9:30. You always liked this time of year winter was your favourite season. You liked the cold, summer was just to hot here.

You walked into the little corner store where you worked thank god it was only a 20 minute walk form here to your house. You waved at your coworker and best friend then headed to the back of the store. You set your bag down in your locker and took off your coat. You figured your boots could stay on.

You shut your locker before heading back to the front of the store and making your way behind the counter.

"So y/n what have you been up to?" Your coworker asked. His name was Charlie he's super tall and has nice short brown hair, he also has the most pretty pair of blue eyes.

"Oh nothing much. Did you watch the the cat video I sent you?" He sighed and nodded. You smile at this.

"Is there anything that's needs to be done?" You asked Charlie. He shook his head. "Damn.. Well easier on me then."

"Your going to be so bored I can already tell."

"Yeah, there's nothing to do here though.." You jokingly whined. "No but seriously there is like two things that need to be done and you always get to them first..."

"Well maybe show up to your shifts earlier."

"You show up like a hour earlier, why do you even come that early?!"

"I dunno'."

3 Hours into your shift and playing games on your phone is getting annoying... Good thing it was your 10 minute break woowee! You stood up and Charlie stood up with you.

"What are you doing we can't both go on break now?"

He rolls his eyes. "Come on it will be super boring without me. And besides no one is even here."

"Pfft fine whatever. But if the register gets robbed it better be coming off your paycheques."

"Yeah yeah, now come on papa needs a smoke."

"Never call yourself that again."

You stepped out the door this was where all stuff got trashed. Isn't this just lovely the dumpster looks amazing tonight. You took out your pack of cigs and pulled one out. You waited for Charlie to pull out his because he had a cool lighter one of the zippo lighters.

"Ahem, aren't you gonna light mine as well?"

"Oh yeah sorry your highness." He joked with you and lit your cigarette. You mumbled out a small thank you before taking a drag. It definitely did not feel the same anymore but still relaxing. When this shit was pretending to put his cigarette out on you.

"Stop that asshole!" You swatted his hand away and he fake pouts.

"Y/n your so mean..." He whines.

"Oh shut up." You take another drag.

Something wasn't right you felt uncomfortable. As if you were being watched maybe? It must be those damn raccoons again... You finished of your cigarette and stomped it out Charlie doing the same. You both head back in happy to see everything looked the same.

You sighed and unfolded one of the chairs that are kept here. Your glad they have them back here cause standing for like 8 hours is shit. At least if you for hungry you could eat the snacks here. Charlie was the one who told you it was okay to do so. Our boss didn't have to know... But if he checked the cameras we would be in shit. This was so boring even with bugging Charlie..

"Hey-" He was cut off by the bell sound the door made when opened. It was one of the regulars they always came around this time, his name was Tim you learned form one of the multiple conversations you two have had.

"I'll get this one," You said quietly to Charlie. "Heya Tim, good to see you again." You smiled and he returned the smiled.

"Hi kiddo."

"Same as always?"

"Yeppers.."

"Glad to see things haven't changed much." Tim usual stayed and chatted with you if no one else was here you two are basically friends. But Charlie was here so he wouldn't stay long.. You pulled out your key and opened the cigarette cabinet then pulled out two boxes of Virginia slims his favourite brand. "You buying drinks for your buddy today?" You asked while putting the boxes on the counter.

"Yeah I guess I will.."

"Bet he'll be happy I reminded you." You said while pulling out a four pack of beer form the fridge and put it on the counter the stuff he always got for his friend. His buds name was Brian you had meet him a couple times he was a bit of a flirt and seemed pretty confident, though he was just a dork. You rang up his stuff and he handed you a 50 he always did so and always had like 15 dollars left over every time. "Tell Brian I say hi."

"I'm sure he'll be glad you remembered him. Bye y/n see you soon."

"Bye bye." You waved him off as he walked out the door. Then you sat back down to find Charlie staring at you. "What?"

"Is this the hot guy you were talking about?"

"Shut up."

"I'm not saying your wrong... He just kinda-"

"I said shut up..!" You whined and slapped your hand over his mouth. And he licked it. "EW!!" You wiped your hand on his shoulder.

"Y/n you should know better..." He jokingly scolded.

You always found walking home was super calming the night was just so peaceful and beautiful. The moon was perfect...

Eyes. Again you were being watched.. You sped up a little even if it was just animal, better to be safe then sorry..
Crunch

That was not the sound of you walking, but another. You picked up the pass again. Don't look behind you don't look... There probably going to cross the street soon and your almost home just keep distance.

They seemed to have sped up too... Fuck this shit. You looked behind you quickly. You saw a man he must be quite a bit taller then you but skinny... He wore his hood up and was looking down so you couldn't see his face... And then he sprinted towards you. Fuck!

You ran too. It's like 2 minutes from here to your house you could run for two minutes you had quite the head start.

He was super fast and scary what the hell is he going to do once he gets his hands on me?!

There it was your house!! The front door was locked... You quickly made you way to the gate an opened it as fast as you could and closed it just to slow him down a bit. You ran onto the deck and flung yourself at the door. You panicked opened the door and shut locked it to. You could hear him step onto the deck.

You could hear him anymore...
