Luz and her friends came crashing through the portal door as rain splashed over their face. The door made a huge crash as it closed in front of them. It became silent, until Luz opened the door again to see nothing but an old empty shack, where she found no sign of her "brother", king. Small whimpers broke the silence behind her, Gus, her youngest friend, broke down into tears. The rain crashed harder and thunder began to bolt. Luz began to bleed from her left eyebrow. Scratches appeared on almost every body part, soar, and bleeding. Bruises were harsh, and cuts were deep. Luz took the lead in front of them all, they stared back at Luz walking away. They began to follow Luz below the rainy clouds. She made her way to her house, her mama's house. The place where she began. She knocked on the hard door, it made a loud echo. Camila, her mother, opened the door to see five children drenched in rain, blood, and sweat. Luz looked into her mama's eyes.
"Hey mom, im back." Luz said with an ache in her voice.
Camila ran out to her daughter and opened her arms large. Her arms rapped around Luz' torso. Luz hugged her tight, and even let a tear fall.
"Luz!" Camila shouted.
Camila began to cry as they hugged, and grabbed her hand, and lead them all inside.
"We need to save Eda, we need to go ba-!" Luz got interrupted
"Luz stop! We can't, it's not possible. Calm down." Willow said.
"It's not possible, yet. We can build it back w-we can't give up!" Luz shouted in an achey sad voice.
Amity grabbed Luz by the hand and put them up against her heart.
"It's going to be okay, Eda is a tough woman." Amity explained.
Luz' breath calmed down as she listened to amity's words, and squeezed her hands tightly.
"Okay..." Luz answered.
Camila came back to the five kids, holding bandages and medicine.
"Luz! What happened!?" Camila asked.
"It's to much to explain right now mama." Luz exclaimed.
Camila looked over to the other four kids, and smiled.
"I see you've made friends." Camila said, "Hi, im Camila, your welcome to stay here as long as you have too."
"Thank you for welcoming us into your home." Hunter said.
The rest thanked her as well, as Luz sits in the corner of the couch. Her anxiety felt as if it was impacting her lungs, slowly invading her brain as she overthought everything.
"Here, I'll get you some food and hot chocolate, make sure to apply those bandages tightly." Camila explained.
"Thank you mama." Luz said.
As Camila made hot chocolate in the kitchen, the kids applied bandages to there soar skin, and took Advil to reduce the pains in there body.
"Is Advil like magic on earth?" Amity asked.
Luz laughed, "no, it's just a drug to reduce pain from earth resources." Luz said.
"oooh" they all said.
Camila held out two hot chocolates, placed them gently on the wood coffee table, and went back to grab three more. She then placed those three on the table, they all grabbed a cup.
"So what is this h-hawt... ch-chocolate?" Gus asked.
"What!? Luz has never mentioned hot chocolate!? It's only the most flavourful hot drink ever!" Camila shouted.
Luz laughed a little as she drank her hot chocolate. Amity rested her head upon Luz' shoulder. Luz blushed a little as she finished her hot chocolate.
"I'll leave you kids to sit for a bit, I'm gonna go explain some things to Vee." Camila said.
"Vee?" Amity asked.
"I'd call her a sister" Luz answered.
Camila came back about ten minutes later, seeing all five of the children sleeping on the couch, their exhausted faces really said how much they needed that sleep. Luz and amity were cuddling close, Gus was sat up with his head back, Willow was curled in a little ball, and hunter seemed to be a bit farther in his own space. Camila smiled, and shed a few tears. She turned off the lights in the house and went to her room to sleep.
