The walk to school was short and quiet. When they got there Y/N grabbed her things from her locker and went to class. She sat at the back of the class so she wouldn't get in trouble for not paying attention, she didn't really want anyone to sit next to her.

That was until Robin Arellano sat down beside her. She quickly looked over where he was and a small smile escaped her lips.

"You don't mind, do you?" He asked

"Oh- Of course not!"

"Well thanks then"

Y/N began to get nervous and she had no idea why, she began fidgeting and shifting uncomfortably in her chair, she glanced over and he seemed to be just as nervous that's when the teacher came in the door and started to introduce herself.

"Hello class I'm Ms. Clancy and i'll be one of your teachers this year I'll help with-.."

Y/N could barely focus she decided to just draw random things on her book, I mean it helped take her mind off who was sitting next to her but she never really felt these feelings towards him before,she didn't even think he remembered her name even though they only spoke for a class she wasn't nervous then, so why is she now?

Robin picked up on her behaviour and asked was she okay, getting a nod in response. The bell rang and Y/N swiftly picked up her things and ran out to her locker.

She walked to her next class with a slight sway in her step, Everyone either wanted to be her or date her, as much as some people wanted to hate her they couldn't find one bad thing about her, Y/N has a good sense of humour , kind , smart and on top of that she's one of the prettiest girls in town. If people got a single hello or goodbye, they'd be a blushing mess.

As she walked into the class she realised she had it with Finney, she quickly scanned the room and ran over to where he was sitting, he was playing with a rocket ship figure with a light attached which Y/N always thought was very cool. She sat down beside him, grabbing his
attention

"Oh hey Y/N " he said with a sweet smile

"Hi Finney!" She spoke while returning the smile.

She had known Finney and Gwen Blake since as long as she can remember, her mother and their mother used to be close before she passed, They'd always come over for playdates with her and Griffin while the parents talked about 'dreams' or something.

This class she actually enjoyed, she wasn't nervous, fidgeting just talking to Finney and listening to the teacher.

She left the class in a slightly better mood, She walked down the hallway, A shy smile appeared on her lips as people along the hallway who had spotted her, stared. She put her things away in a locker because that was her last class before lunch, She closed it when Robin Arellano appeared infront of her, she looked at him confused before he spoke up

"Hey, just so you know- about the fight, I'm not like that."

She nodded but still looked as confused as ever for why he had to explain himself.

"I saw you were nervous, in class?"

"Oh! No, it wasn't that. It was uh-"

Just then Griffin ran up to her. Saved by the bell.
"Oh well i'll see you later?" Robin asked,
"Sure!" Y/N chirped as they began to walk to the cafeteria they sat next to Gwen and Finney, People let out a small scoff as they half expected her to sit next to them instead.

It was a bit quiet before out of all people, Robin sat down with them. Finney explained how he had invited him to sit with them but that didn't help the fact that Y/N was basically crushing on him.

What was surprising is that Robin was talking, joking and laughing like he'd known them forever, Y/N found Robin was really easy to talk to and after a few minutes she felt comfortable around him, He was patient, sweet and funny.
