Mia's POV
Mercedes texted me this morning saying that she'll take the ring so we met up and I gave it to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Mia I'll end it with him soon just give me time"
"I promise I'll wait for you Mercedes not matter how long it takes" I smile and we go in different directions to lunch.
(Mia is Sam but Sam is still there and she's singing with the boys still and Mercedes is wearing the m necklace Mia got her instead of the foxy one)
We are now sat in the choir room as Mr Shue talks about how he's going to ask Emma to marry him. I'm sat down next to Mercedes looking at the promise ring on her hand.
"Hey Mr Shue could I talk to you?" I ask as I stay back after glee.
"Sure Mia what's up?" He asks.
"So I um gave Mercedes a promise ring"
"I thought she was with that Shane boy"
"She is but she still said yes to the ring"
"Mia why are you telling me this?"
"Because I'm confused sir look just forget it" I walk out the room.
As I walk out I feel a slushy hit me in the face and I just freeze.
Mercedes POV
I walk out the bathroom with Santana and Tina and we see Mia covered in slushy but not moving not even wiping the slush out her eyes so I run over to her.
"Mia who did this?" Santana asks as she looks like she's going to kill someone.
Mia doesn't speak or move so we take her to the bathroom where Brittney, Quinn and Rachel are stood talking they look at Mia in shock and start cleaning her up.
I walk out the room and go get some clothes out my locker for her then I walk back in to everyone trying to get her to speak or move.
I tell the girls to wait outside as I take her into a stool.
"Mia you have to zone back in common Mia please" I end up kissing her because I was starting to give her then I felt her kiss back.
Santana comes back in and sees and I get so scared but ignore it knowing I needed to help Mia.
"Mercedes, Shane is asking for you" she says.
"Tell him I'll text him later or never or idk just please go" I say and she gives me a sad smile and leaves.
"I'm sorry" I hear Mia mumble.
"It's ok I had to help you somehow are you ok now?" I ask.
"Yea but my clothes are all sticking but I don't want to move I'm tired"
"It's ok I'll help you" I start to lift her top off.
"Thanks M" she mumbled
I put a t-shirt on her. "Do you need the pants?" I ask.
"No it's ok there fine" she try's to stand up so I help her.
I kiss her on the cheek before we leave the bathroom. "I'll always be here for you M" I point to the ring and she smiles.
Mia walks away saying she's going to meet up with Sam so Santana, Rachel, Tina and I go to talk to Mr Shue about the engagement song.
(Pretend Mia is who Mercedes is singing about instead of Sam and when they talk replace Sam's name with Mia)
Mia's POV
I hear everything Mercedes says because I was in the bathroom and when I hear the door close I go out the stool and I see Santana fixing her makeup.
"I heard it all" I say standing behind her.
"She still loves you Mia just give her time" Santana says then walks out.
(Mia is sat with Mercedes but walks out half way through the song)
I didn't want them to worry about me again so when I felt another panic attack coming I just left the room.
I walk into the bathroom and luckily no one was in there so I pulled the engagement ring out my pocket but then I hear someone come in.
"Um Mia what's that?" I hear Tina.
I sigh. "I don't want to ever loose her again Tina she's the best thing that ever happened to me and I just can't loose her" I burst into tears.
"Mia you have your hole life ahead of you asking a taken girl to marry you is going to make her hate you not love you she'll be ready soon I promise but I just don't think she wants to be asked to marry someone." She says hugging me as I cry.
We sit on the bathroom floor as I'm being hugged while I'm still crying.
When I get home I put the ring away in a drawer just before Sam walks into Rachel's room as I'm still staying at hers.
"Hey Mia, Mercedes just texted and said you should stay round there she knows you better and Rachel will just freak out if you have a panic attack here.
"Oh ok let me just pack then I'm guessing you talked to Mercedes and Rachel then?" I ask.
"Yea Rachel thinks it's a good idea" he says helping me pack.
When I get to Mercedes house I kiss Sam's cheek before he drives off.
I go into Mercedes room and I smile at her as she pats the space next to her on her bed and I lay down.
"Goodnight Mia"
"Goodnight Mercedes"
The next day Sam and I get the idea to use the swimming pool for Mr Shue's proposal.
