Killian moved his now free hands and saw who bailed him out , and said: roman?

Roman turned to him and sighed as he hugged him: oh Jesus, killian you're okay!

Killian hugged back lightly and said: yeah I'm okay, it's fine.

Roman pulled away and looked at Killian's appearance and said: wha- did they hurt you?

Killian shook his head and said: no , no roman I'm okay, calm down.

Roman wiped his face and nodded: alright let's get you out of here , I've got your stuff.

They walked out of the jail after killian changed his clothes, he wore a hat so people wouldn't recognize him for now.

They walked across the street and sat on a bench near some shop a little away from the main streets , killian needed some peace before he goes back home.

Roman got out of the shop with grocery bag in his hand , he sat down next to killian and said as he handed him a bottle of water : here you go..

Killian drank from it like he was living in the dessert and then sighed and said: that's smooth but did you get me the good stuff?

Roman rolled his eyes and smiled as he handed the pack of cigars to killian and said: you sure missed smoking more than me.

Killian smiled and lit up his cigar.

They took a deep breath as they looked at the street and the trees on the other side of the road.

Roman sighed and said : i know this isn't the best time to discuss this , but killian when I bailed you out you were by yourself, non of your family visited, if I hadn't gotten you out , you would've stayed there for months.

Killian nodded: i know roman, im glad you came and I'll pay you back once we get home.

Roman shook his head and said: no that's not what I meant, i don't care about the money, but... Where is your family killian? Who would've helped you if I wasn't there ?

Killian licked his lower lip after he breathed out the smoke and said: they're all dead roman, my mother died giving birth to me , and my dad and older sister died on a plane crash when they were coming here to America , all my other cousins and family are in Russia, so Im by myself here .

Roman: oh my god, what plane they were on ?

Killian: flight 19 , it was their first time in America.

Roman sighed and said: yeah I remember my parents talking about it when I was young.

Killian nodded and cleared his throat as he got up: anyways, I'm not gonna drag you in all of this again, thank you for your help today but now let's go home.

Roman got up too as he felt a buzz in his pocket, he picked up his phone and said: hey baby ... Woo woo calm down, don't cry , what happened?? Are you in your office? ... Okay I'll be there in a minute.

Killian looked at him confused: is everything okay?
Roman shook his head as he stopped a taxi: no , it's Charlotte, something is wrong.

They took the cap instantly to Charlotte's office.

When they arrived outside, there was police and an ambulance and bunch of reporters and cameras outside the building, they made their way through the cops and paramedics until they saw Charlotte who was giving her statement to the deputy about what happened, when he thanked her and left, she ran towards roman and hugged him as she cried and shivered .
