The decision

The morning was cold , the clouds have covered the sky , killian was sipping coffee on his kitchen table as he flipped through his father's journal, he became obsessed with it , learning more and more about how his father worked against the American government, and interfered at the transportation of russians to America multiple times.

Of course the Americans were not pleased with that as they tried to warn Mikhail to stop and leave them alone but Mikhail was too stubborn, some might say he was too patriotic to just stand around and watch these crimes.

Until killian stumbled into these pages..

" June 20 - 1995
There was a threatening note that I found on my office today, I believe the Americans have found me , they're watching me , they even threatened my family, I can't risk that , eva is gonna give birth during this month, my family is getting bigger and I can't risk losing them .

Killian sighed as he cursed mentally at how much patriotic his father was .
He flipped the pages as he noticed one written in a pale colored paper with messy handwriting and few stains on it.

" June 29 - 1995
Eva ... eva died today, my love died giving birth to our son , they took her body to the mortem , but lugein wouldn't stop crying, and now I have this child and I don't know what to do, I don't know how to keep this family together, I... I can't live without eva , my love.. rest in peace.

Killian wiped away the tear that slipped from his eye ,  he swallowed and looked up with his blue eyes to try stop his emotions from overwhelming him .

He took a shaky deep breath and continued reading..

It's bad , it's becoming very bad , I've stopped interfering with the Americans to protect my family but they're not stopping, they want to get rid of me, I don't know what to do, I need to get out of here , I can't stay in Russia, they know where I am for the love of god, calm down Mikhail.. calm down, you have two children to protect, yuri and his wife have been helping me so far but come on Mikhail pull yourself together..

Killian realized his father was losing it slowly, he was terrified , turning paranoid slowly.

" September 3 - 1996
I decided to leave Russia, there was a shooting problem outside the office, I think the Americans have found me, I need to leave, I left killian at my parents house saying that I'll go on a business trip , they don't know and I don't want to make them go through this, killian can have a normal life away from my problems, im taking lugein with me, she's aware of my being a won't forget me, I can't make her lose both parents, I bought two tickets to Canada, I'm leaving tonight ,

if I don't survive ,
... to whoever reading this , Im no longer alive, please look out for my children .

Killian flipped the page in a rush to figure out what happened, he was told that his father was on a plain to America not Canada!

But the next pages were empty, that was the last note that Mikhail wrote that day  !

Killian flipped through the other pages, he searched for what happened but he found the company papers , the sells went down, the employers started quitting the work , the company lost it's money and was shut after a year , apparently yuri couldn't afford losing all that money, millions and millions of dollars were lost , until the company was shut and over for good.
