The sunset shined its final light apon the sky before being replaced with the festival lights , colourful lights and banners, balloons and food filled the atmosphere

As rose and killian arrived at the festival , they walked through the different tables and shops, looking at different items and trying different types of food
Killian asked as they walked and enjoyed their ice-cream : so what's this festival for ?

Rose : it's for raising money for the new children homecare that'll open soon .

Killian: oh thats really nice , I've never really been to a festival before.

Rose : yeah i can see you're not a loud place type of guy , but i thought it could be fun to just change your mood from being sick at home for weeks .

Killian took the last bite of his ice-cream as he smiled saying : yeah im really enjoying the place with you .

Rose giggled and then gasped and said as she pointed at a toy machine: oh lets go play !!

They went to the booth , it was a claw machine with stuffed toys in it .

Rose smiled and said: oh im gonna win the pink kitten. 

Killian looked at her so invested in playing as if it was life or death , as he catched himself smiling at her .

She huffed and said handing him her ice-cream completely focused on the claw : hold this .

Killian grabbed it, as she said with a warning tone : and dont think about eating from it !

Killian said surprised: o-ok .
He looked over

After couple of seconds later the claw couldn't grab the toy and the turn was over .
Rose frowned: uhh , fair game fair game , here gimme the ice-cream , thank u .

They heard the explosions from far away , as rose looked at him and said: ooh wanna go see the fireworks?

Killian said: you know what why don't you go find us a place on that hill and I'll grab some food so we can enjoy the scene?

Rose : alright I'll see you there !

She walked towards a close hill just outside the festival, it was dark, quiet and absolutely perfect to watch fireworks.

She sat down , finishing her ice-cream as the cold breeze of wind played with her short black hair .

A few moments later killian came back carrying a paper bag with his broken hand .
He placed it on the floor and said: okay i grabbed some stuff .

Rose smirked : what are u hiding behind ur back ?

Killian pulled out the pink kitten toy and handed it to rose as she gasped and said: woa- how did you ?

Killian smiled: I have my ways , plus you played hard for it , you deserve it .

Rose hugged it and said: aww this is the sweetest thing , I'll keep it forever , thank you killian.

Killian smiled as he pulled the food out of the paper bag : now how about some food ?

Rose clapped her hands in excitement as they started eating.

Roman opened his phone, his finger hesitantly hovering over Charlotte's number.. he didn't know what to do anymore, the FBI's hands are tightening around his throat and he didn't want Charlotte to get hurt again... maybe it's for the best if they break up , then she wouldn't have to go through this ...
He closed off his phone as he rubbed his face in tiredness.
