If Minho had never met Jisung, he wouldn't have witnessed him fighting for Bbama

-How was the date? Jeongin asked not taking his eyes off his phone screen.

-It wasn't a date. The guy just left.

-Interesting. Someone rejected the mighty Changbin hyung. That's odd, he snorted.

-Shut up... He was so cute. Those freckles were adorable. I really thought I could finally start dating.

-Maybe it's for the better. Imagine the poor guy's fate if the fans would find out. He will be attacked, crushed., and absolutely mortified. This is the fate of every couple between an idol and a fan. Even worse if both are idols. You couldn't hide him from the world forever anyway.

Jisung heard a yell from behind and went to check on the dogs.

Two clients, a man and a woman, were shouting at Bbama, while Minho was trying to calm them down.

-He bit me. How dare he? the woman added, raising her bag in the air to hit the cage.

-There is no need for that, Mrs, Minho spoke. Bbama is still a puppy. He is still getting used to people's presence around him.

-How can you take his part? He attacked me! I can make one call and sue you!

Jisung walked past them unbothered and opened the cage, then took Bbama in his arms and kissed him.

-Don't ignore my wife!

Jisung turned to face them and stared into their eyes.

-Animals can sense bad people. Maybe he sensed your cheap perfume and realized you are a bunch of jerks.

-Oh, my bad, he continued. It's the perfume of the hooker your husband hired last night.

She gasped before turning around to her husband.

-That's it! he rushed towards Jisung, raising his hand in the air.

Minho wanted to stop him, but Jisung signaled him to stay out of it.

Jisung was slapped so hard that his cheek got bruised in a second. He didn't say a word, just tightening his grip on Bbama.

-I want you both to leave, please! Minho said sternly. It's pretty clear you are not qualified to adopt from this place. Don't ever come back!

The couple cursed and threatened him a few times before exiting, leaving Minho alone with Jisung again.

-Are you alright?

Jisung didn't respond. He put Bbama back in his cage and went back to the counter.

-At least let me help you with your bruise! Minho pleaded. Please, Jisung! You are my employee and you got hurt.

Jisung still didn't talk to him.

Furthermore, he flinched every time Minho wanted to clean his wound.

Minho felt miserable all day while Jisung didn't even let a sound escape his mouth.
