Chapter 3: Offence-Defense

We finally got back from the mission. I sighed in relief.

"Finally! We're done," I exaggerated, "for a second, I thought I wouldn't make it!" I earned a laugh from my classmate, Suguru Geto. I looked at him.

"To be honest, you have a nice technique," I told him. He smiled, - "So, do you."

-I forgot to put this in Y/n's Technique, but when it comes to long-range or she lost her Katana. She can manipulate her cursed energy.-

As we were walking back to the dormitory and Yaga found us.

"Oh, found you two. I need a report on the mission to report it to the higher-ups." He told us.

"Geto, do you want to tell him?" I asked,- "Sure,"

After a few minutes of standing there and helping Geto explain what happened on the mission, to Yaga sensei.

"And yeah. That was pretty much it." I said.

"Well, if that's it. Thank you, guys. You have a 3-day break," He said before he walked off. Geto looked at me. I looked back at him, he smiled at me,

"Cool, we have a 3-day break!" I nodded in agreement,- "Well, I better be heading off to my dorm. Catch you later," I said and with that, I turned around to walk away, but someone grabbed my shoulder.

"Hmm, yes Geto-kun?" I asked, - "Before you go, what's your technique called?" I turned my head, grabbing my chin to think about it. I had slightly forgotten the name of my technique. How clumsy of me.

"The one I mostly used is..." I started, "Ah, Ha! it's Golden Haven, but I did use another technique called Culling Hell. I only use that if they get on my bad side or there is a stronger curse. Like grade 1. But, I have more where that came from," I grinned as I told him the last part. He nodded.

"Thanks that's all I needed to know! Can't wait to see your other techniques one day." He said before we parted our ways. I waved at him. Then I walked to my dorm. 

My dorm was pretty plain. I really didn't want to decorate it with stuff that I didn't need. The only thing I really had in my room was my desk and a chair, my study books about Jujutsu techniques and this one specific book that had a technique I was really interested in. And of course my bed, but it had a plush on it. It was a birthday gift from Ms Honako. 

  I sighed in relief, "Finally the missions are done, I'm tired like hell," I thought to myself. I got ready for bed, not even minding getting dinner. And with that, I fell asleep.

I was exploring the campus's grounds. It was a beautiful sight to see. I had explored the whole campus, so I started to head back to where the first years are staying. That's when I heard some weird noises.
