It had been ten years since y/n last set foot in Tokyo. Ten years since her life was torn apart by tragedy. And ten years since she had seen him—Satoru Gojo. Y/n often wondered if she would ever cross paths again. The memory of his child-like cocky grin and the promises that she'd made together as children haunted her dreams, but now wasn't the time to dwell on the past. Y/n had business to do.

Today marked the start of a new chapter of Y/n's life. She was fifteen, a first-year student at Jujutsu High, transferring into Tokyo's prestigious Jujutsu Technical College after living far from the city, sometimes even living abroad. The six-hour journey to Tokyo had been long, leaving her plenty of time to reflect on the significance of this moment. Though she was eager to prove herself, an inexplicable anxiety gnawed at her.

From all the thinking, y/n hadn't noticed that the train had stopped and it was time for her to get off the train. That was until a member of the train tapped y/n on the shoulder, telling her it was time for her to get off. Y/n apologized and got off the train. She looked into the distance, wondering what awaited her at the new school she'd now be attending.

"Oh, you must be Y/N L/N," he greeted, his deep voice calm but commanding. "I'm Masamichi Yaga."

"It's nice to meet you, Yaga-sensei," Y/n replied, bowing politely.

"Likewise," he said. "Now, let's get you to class and run over the basics while we walk."

Yaga then turned around, walking away while Y/n scrambled to catch up. Following him like a lost puppy, but still tried to keep her confidence intact. The two of you walked together in silence, before Yaga spoke up, talking to Y/n about what should be expected and what was going to happen from now on. Yaga explained until they'd arrived at the classroom. Standing at the door, Yaga gestured for you to wait.

Inside, she heard his voice boom, "Good morning, everyone."

A few murmured greetings followed—just two, by your count.

"We have a new student joining us today," Yaga announced, signaling for y/n to enter.

Taking a steadying breath, she stepped inside and were met with a mostly empty classroom. Only two students were present: a girl with short brown hair and a boy with black hair tied up in a neat bun. The two looked at her in curiosity.

Y/n introduced yourself confidently, but no Arrogantly like a certain somebody
