"Boys?" Phil called out. Confusion clear on his face and tone.

The three boys whipped around quickly. Looking at the older man with tense posture.

They slowly let go of their cleaning supplies. Techno stood straighter, a soft grip on the top of the broom with a nervous glance to his friends.
Tommy slowly lowered his arm that was trying to reach the top of the window, letting it fall to the side of his hips.
Wilbur just turned around. Glancing between Phil and the floor.

"What— what are you guys doing?" Phil asked. Unnoticeably wincing at how harsh it came out.
Maybe not harsh to people walking by, but harsh to the three teenagers standing in front of him.

"I'm so sorry, sir— Phil! We— i thought you'd want us to clean. It's my fault, really. Please don't do anything to them. It's on me!" Wilbur said, desperate to leave his closed ones out of it.

"No, it's not his fault." Techno said as he nervously glanced down to the floor. "I never did any intention to stop him and I'm older. I should know better. I'm so sorry, sir." The pinkette explained. The fear he felt lingering in the air close. "Please, just please, don't do anything to them. You can punish me how much you want just please—"

They all three started to panic, walking closer and closer to the adult to get their voice heard. To make Phil decide who to put the blame on.

But he didn't want to put the blame on anyone.

He want ice cream.
𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆.

"Boys!" Phil said rather sternly, to get them to quiet down.

All three of them froze under the loud force of his voice. The thick and icky air slowly fading back.

"Just, 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆, relax. Calm down. Okay?" Phil said dragging his hand down his face.
"I'm not mad. And I'm definitely 𝒏𝒐𝒕 going to punish any of you. Is that clear?"
He looked at all three of them. The teenagers shrinking of the weight of the adult's eyes.

"Yes, sir." They said. Their voice thick and drenched in fear.

"How about you three go put back the cleaning supplies and then we will meet here again okay? One thing at a time. I'm not mad." He clarified. The three boys nodded quickly before walking into the laundry.

Phil sighed for himself as he sat down on the chair next to the dining table.

What does he do now? Give them an option to stay? Maybe send them to their room or maybe tell them to spend time with him? What does he say if he spends time with them?

He doesn't know what to do!—
Wait no.

Don't think about what he will do, think about what he can do.

He can help them. He can make them comfortable, he can help them heal.

He promised himself that he'd help them.
He—

The floor gave away the three boys silently walking back.
"S—sir?" The pinkette stuttered out.

Phil currently had his head cupped into his hands, but his head snapped up quickly at the voice. "Phil." He breathed out. "Call me Phil."

"Yes, sorry.. Phil."

Saying the adults name instead of sir, left a butter taste on his tongue. It's such a simple thing that he would of gotten a beating for if he messed up.

But there wouldn't be punishments for saying his name instead of 'sir' if he was the one telling the pinkette to, right?

"It's alright." The man said. Looking at the three boys who looked down on the floor. Hands behind their back, spine straightened.

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕?

"So," Phil said, rising from his seat, making the teenagers shrink.
He frowned at that. The blond adult was pretty sure he didn't look 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 intimidating.
"How about," he continued. "You three go and pick out a something we can watch while i grab something."

The three boys looked up in confusion.

"You three can choose whatever you want, I'm open for anything." Phil shrugged.

Earning a nod from Wilbur and Techno, he decided I'd be a great plan.

Easy way to relax.
-
The three had picked out some theater or musical, he doesn't really know.
But it was good.

Phil had given out small comments and laughs. Sometimes, the three quietly sung along, smiled or laughed. Stopped abruptly when they realized they did, but Phil pretended like he didn't see.

Just to see the relief in their face and the happy smiles.
It was worth it.

He was about to make another comment when his attention caught the three boys in awe.

Techno was sitting in the middle. On his right was Wilbur. Snuggled up to the side of the pinkette. His head resting on Techno's shoulder and he had a arm wrapped around Wilbur protectively. But comforting.
Tommy was on the other side. His body was so relaxed that he had fallen slightly over. Facing back to back with Wilbur, his head resting on Techno's upper chest, listening to his heartbeat. The pinkette had an arm around Tommy to. But his neck & head was simply laid back against the couch.

It was so adorable that Phil wanted to zip a photo.

Slowly, he took up his camera and clicked.
No flash or sounds on. It was quiet but adorable.
The adult didn't have the heart to wake them up. Putting some blankets over them instead. It seemed to make them relax more and Wilbur buried his head into the pinkette's shoulders.

Phil's heart is melting—
Alright. That's it. He's going to grab some ice cream and watch tv now. Knowing his boys are safe is his one priority. Seeming as they where peacefully sleeping, he gave himself the allowance to grab some ice cream and relax.

A night that will forever be memorized. Comforting and loving.
And the adult will hold onto it forever.

To bad all good things must come to an end eventually, then.
