(Yoongi's POV)
I knew Soo-Yin was super excited to go and see the cherry blossoms. It was something she had brought up several times during the flight here. As we walked down the sidewalk hand-in-hand, I found myself stealing glances at her. I smiled as I saw the sparkle in her eyes, the bright glow of her skin...she looks so beautiful.
I couldn't wait to see the cherry blossoms with her myself. I know it's a common trope in anime or manga that when you see the cherry blossoms bloom with the person you love, you'll be with that person forever. Or something similar to that, at least. Nonetheless, seeing the joy on her face brings me joy.
"We should be getting there soon," I said as we continued walking. Then all of a sudden, I heard her stomach growl. It wasn't just a subtle growl, it was like a deep, hungry bear kind of growl. Her face turned bright red and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Um...the baby's hungry?" She chuckled nervously.
"Soo-Yin," I sighed as I smiled. "I'll get you and baby Min something to eat. Just let me know what you'd like."
"Ooh!" She exclaimed. "What's that mochi on a stick called again?"
"Dango," I replied.
"I think the kind I'm thinking of is called Hanami Dango, if I'm remembering correctly." Soo-Yin said.
"Okay. Hanami Dango it is," I replied as I squeezed her hand even tighter. "If my memory serves me right, last time I was here, there should be a sweets shop just a few doors down from where we are now."
"I'm excited!" Soo-Yin said happily.
We continued walking until we reached the sweet shop. We walked in and the aroma of multiple sweet confections overwhelmed my senses. The aroma was strong, but at least it was a pleasant smell. After my nose adjusted to the sweet smell, I glanced over at Soo-Yin, who's eyes were literally wide and sparkling. If I didn't know any better, I'd say my wife turned into a literal anime character, uwu face and all.
Adorable. I thought to myself.
"Hi, welcome to Kobayashi's Sweet Shop, how can I help you?" The lady behind the counter sweetly said.
"Yes," I said as I cleared my throat. "Could we have two hanami dango's please?"
"Absolutely!" The lady said with a warm smile on her face. "Two hanami dango, coming right up!"
I went ahead and pulled out my card and paid for our order. We then stepped back away from the counter. Then, all of a sudden, we heard a group of people giggling. Soo-Yin and I glanced over and saw a group of guys sitting at a table. When they noticed us looking they quickly stopped laughing and turned away from us. I took in a deep breath, sighed and shook my head.
