Elena knocked on the door to Kol's house she had come to drop the kids off. And she wanted to talk to Kol they needed to talk. He came and opened the door. He knew that she siad that she was dropping them off in the morning, but he didn't expect her to be this early. "You're early."
"We need to talk?" She didn't know if he was actually going to listen to what she had said. And it was vital for this to work. They had to have sometype of agreement.
"Aubree Henrick go in a minute be nice to her." He was mostly saying it to Aubree who just rolled her eyes and followed her brother inside. He had a feeling what this was about. She had come to make sure that he really did what she had asked. He walked down the steps with her following. "What do you want to talk about?"
"If we want to do this we have to have common ground." They needed it if they were going to attempt to get along. He had Davina and even if she didn't technically want to be do what she was doing she had to. Which meant that she needed him to do one thing for her.
"What do you want Elena?" He knew her well enough to know that she was beating around the bush.
"I wnat her to be nice to my new boyfriend." She knew that her daughter didn't like the idea of her dating and that she wanted her parents back together. But she had tried it once and she wasn't putting herself out there to get hurt. She had to do this for herself and for her kids. She knew that as much as she tried to hate him she also loved him twice as much and she couldn't be vulnerable not around him. "She is you so i was wondering if you would actually talk to her and do more than just try."
"And why would i do that?" He refused to help her stay with her boyfriend. As selfish as it was he loved her and he knew that he couldn't be with her he had hurt her once and he couldn't do it again.
"Please it's all i'm asking for." She needed him to do this to her she needed Aubree not to mess things up before they even started.
"No." He wasn't doing it he didn't care if he hurt her feelings by not helping. He wasn't helping the girl that he loved stay with someone else. She was right he was a selfish bastard but he didn't care.
"Why not?" She didn't get why he had to be so difficult why he couldn't just help her with this one thing.
"What do i look like helping my ex stay with her new boyfriend?" He wasn't doing it he made up his mind he wasn't being apart of her staying in her new relationship.
"Do not pull that card you left me remember? I didn't break up with you, you left me to be with a family who could have cared less about you." She did not want to have this argument she would have prefered if the past had stayed in the past. "You have Davina remember the girl that your daughter threatened to kill."
He scoffed he had knew that it was his fault that he had messed up and he had no idea how to fix it. But that didn't change the fact that he was not helping her stay with her boyfriend. If she wanted her daughter to be nice then she had to talk to her herself. "Our daughter she's your daughter to and if i remember you had a jealousy streak."
"Not over her she's not worth my time." She wasn't jealous of Davina if she wanted to she could get rid of her before her daughter did. But she wasn't stupid she knew that this little game that they had going on wasn't going to last very long. Not when he still looked at her as he did years ago. "I've had you before remember she's the one suffering dating a guy that will never look at her the way you are looking at me."
The only thing stopping him from getting her back was the fact that he knew that he had already hurt her once and he didn't want to do it again. He knew that if he ever wanted something with her again that he was going to have to earn her back. "If i wanted you back i could have you."
