"That didn't sound sincere."

She turned to look at Kol she hadn't even noticed that he had been there. She didn't have time for this she had been purposely trying to get him off the phone so that he wouldn't hear what she had been saying because she knew that he was going to have a comment about it.  "Were you listening in?"

"Maybe." From what he had heard she hadn't really meant it and she had lied to him. Telling him things that she knew was not true.

"That is creepy." She already had a lot going on not wanting to deal with him either. She didn't really want to talk to him

"That doesn't change the fact that you weren't sincere." He knew her well enough to know the conversation she had just had with her boyfriend hadn't been sincere at all.

"Can you just get to the point?" She figured that there was more that he had to say to her and she just wanted him to get to it.

"I don't like him Elena." He didn't like her boyfriend and he most certainly didn't trust him.

She scoffed she couldn't really say she blamed him she didn't like him either he wasn't even her type. "He's not for you to like Kol i don't care if you like him."

He looked back at Aubree he had heard the coma paitents could hear the things around him and he didn't know how true that was but he didn't need her to hear this. "Outside."

"Whatever." She got up following him outside of the door. She knew that he was going to have a lot to say or at least something that he didn't want anyone to hear.  "What do you want Kol?"

"You lied to him why?" He knew that she lied to him and he was guessing that what Bonnie and Caroline had been saying about there being a chance that she knew what he was up to was true,

"No i didn't." Ok fine she did but she would not admit that to him she wanted to keep this away from the originals as much as possible. She knew him and like they agreed on old habits died hard and he had a thing about risking everything to protect her.

"Yes you did you told him that Henrick was with Bonnie he's with my siblings." Kol had heard Elena say two lies and he was betting that she had been feeding Justin lies the entire time. "You know exactly why she's in the hospital and you told him that you didn't know what caused it."

"I don't know what you're talking about maybe your hearing stuff. That's what happens when you eavesdrop." She trurned to go back in the room she refused to have this conversation with him right now. She refused to let him know what was really going on.

"They told me he was a hybrid." Elena stopped in her tracks she had known that but she wasn't sure how much Bonnie and Caroline had actually knew she knew that they had suspected it. "Bonnie said that she sensed danger and i'm guessing you did too." He knew that she sensed danger he knew that she had the habit of putting herself right in the middle of the crossfire. "Who did you tell him was with you?" He could bet that she hadn't mentioned to her boyfriend that it was him.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She hoped that she would get the chance to lie her way out of it. That he couldn't catch her in her lies like he used to be able to. "Bonnie's team you remember her word can't always be trusted."

He didn't believe it was that for one second she was lying trying to change the subject. "Don't try it Elena who does he think is here with you."

Now she knew that she had been caught and he wasn't going to let it go until he told her the truth. "I told her Cami had been doing things for me. Bringing me food checking on Henrick and what not,"

"So you didn't tell him that it was me that was doing that." He didn't get why the lying what she was trying to gain from him.

"He already doesn't like you he already wants to hurt your family." She sighed turning to him she knew that she mindaswell just come clean tell him everything it would be nice to have someone lese know the truth and what she had learned. . "He asked about Aubree he knew her name i didn't tell him he knew stuff about her like he had been watching her. That's part of the reason for the move. I knew here i could always have her in my sight i didn't know that you guys lived here but i knew my cousin could help me."

"Why are you putting yourself in danger why not call someone for help?" He knew that it was more than just she was a marytr there was something else to it. She had learned something else.

"He has a vengance against your family it was easier to get close. He wants Aubree for something and i'm going to find out why and i'm so close i can't have you guys coming in and messing this up." He knew how they were when someone wanted to kill them but it was her kids involved and he wasn't intrerested in Aubree for some reason she's part of it and Elena wanted to know how he planned to use her daughter to hurt them. "He's not just one person he's apart of a group and they all want to get to Aubree to take you guys down. And as much as i hate all of you i would never let that happen."

"Don't do this just let us handle this." Kol wouldn't be able to stand it if she got hurt trying to protect him and his siblings.

"I can't do that i know the risk i'm close to figuring this out just let me finish what i started. He didn't come to me for no reason and he won't get away with it." She needed Kol to trust that she could handle this without help from one of them. She had done everything carefully since she realized that he was using her to get to her daughter and the originals. She knew that she could handle this. Everything she said to him she knew the reaction it would cause. "He doesn't know waht Aubree is alergic to thats why i lied. He's scared of Bonnie he won't go near her. Or go looking for anything. The farther away from you he thinks i am the better chance i have."

He refused to let her do this he had always known that she protected everyone and a lot of the times it caused her pain. He couldn't cause her anymore pain. "No you are not doing this you are not risking your life to try and save my family."

"I'm saving my kids Kol you have to let me do this." Sure it was his family but Aubree and Henrick were her kids and she knew that Justin was going to hurt all members of the original family and that included them.

He could see by the look in her eyes she was determined to see this through. But he didn't want to see her get hurt. "Promise me that you won't get yourself killed and if you go to far you will get help."

"Kol." She wasn't sure if she could promise that because she would rather it be her that got hurt rather than her kids rather than him.

"Promise me."

"Promise."
