lee grew up as a jockhead, rough-housing teenager who knew no boundaries or rules. after the storm and his brother's coma, he forced himself to grow up at a speed he never anticipated. he grew to be a loving and caring ruler with an iron fist and respect for his kingdom and those he ruled over. nobody would ever describe lee as "cold" but certainly as "unreadable". his trust was truly broken by his brother and the war he invoked and the years have clearly worn on him. deep down, lee is still the same jokester, football playing kid he once was but nobody has seen that side of him in many, many years.

lee was raised by the now deceased, king jack and queen roseann. he is the twin brother of the scornful, king tomas of cupis. shortly after the accident, lee married his longtime secret sweetheart, autumn, and crowned her queen of vaidora. they gave birth to prince rowan and almost a year later, gave birth to princess roselyn. when the prince and princess were 8 years old, lee and autumn had the youngest of the family, prince ross.

lee is terrified his son and daughter will resent him for agreeing to the selection but he knows it for the best. he wants his children to have a future and he knows that without this war ending selection, there will be no chance of this. he loves his brother dearly, despite all the problems, and just wants to end the trail of blood that tomas has left in his wake.

lee is often found in his study, pouring over pages and pages of letters from his people, trying to figure out what to do for the kingdom. despite it being forty years after him taking the throne, the king still truly doesn't feel as though he belongs in a castle with a crown upon his head.
