Chapter 5 // You and Me

Glenn stopped the car in front of the pharmacy and we got out.

"I'll look for some stuff that I think we'll need. You'll do the same?" I asked. "Yes." Glenn answered.

I walked to the back of the store, collecting water, some medicine, and some more candy.

I went back to where Glenn was. He was on the floor, looking at stuff.

"Whatcha got there?" I ask. He started scrambling through things. "Just- just these. Like you said, get things that we think we'll need." Glenn said, standing up.

"You think you'll need condoms?" I asked, looking at the box he had in his hands. "I-" He started.

"You got a girlfriend I don't know about?" I say. "No. I was just-" "Then you must be one confident guy." I said.

"Alex, no. I- I wasn't trying to-" "Is there something wrong with me?" I ask. "No. No. Not at all." He said.

"Then I'll have sex with you." I said, confidently. "R-Really?" Glenn stuttered. I kissed him softly.

"You're not the only one who's lonely." I said. I put my bag down. I pulled my shirt over my head, unclasped my bra and slid it off.

"Wow." Glenn said. He took off his shirt and we kissed again. His tongue licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance. Gladly, I accepted.

Still kissing, we both pulled our pants down. I jumped on to him. Glenn's finger laced around my underwear, sliding them down.

He opened a condom before pulling his underwear down and sliding it on. I gasped as he kissed my neck.

And we looked at each other before kissing again.

Later, we sat down eating. We were all inside, except for Lori, who was outside.

I wanted to go check on her. "I'll be right back guys." I say, getting up an walking outside.

Lori was sitting by the grass. I went to her side. "You okay?" I asked her. "I'm-I'm fine." She stuttered. Then, I saw something that made me angry.

"What the hell is this?!" I yell, seeing the box of abortion pills beside her. "Alex, please don't tell anyone about this. Rick doesn't even know yet." She said.

"You're pregnant? I mean you were pregnant?" I whisper. "I threw up the pills. I swear." Lori said. "Why didn't you tell me?" I ask. "I didn't tell anyone. Only Shane knows. He thinks it might be his..." Lori trailed off.

"Wait-how could he think it's his if- no. Lori you didn't!" I say. She stayed quiet.

"How could you? What about Rick? Does he not mean anything to you?" I ask. "Alex, Shane told me that Rick was dead. I thought he was until Glenn brought him back."

I was really upset with Lori for keeping this a secret.

"C'mon don't be upset." Lori said. "I bet you have secrets that you haven't told anyone."

"Well..." I trailed off. "Well what? You have a secret? Tell me. Tell me. Tell me!" She said. I giggled.

"When Glenn and I went to the pharmacy today, we-we had sex." I said. Lori's jaw dropped. "Really?" She asked. I nodded.

"You and Glenn are a thing now? I'm not shocked." "Why?" "Because, I see the way you look at him."
