Alexa and Katie have gone their separate ways. But when they're brought together, their feelings for eachother are complicated. With them both having boyfriends it's impossible for these two to be together. Right?
I always thought Katie and I were the perfect couple. That's why I was going to propose. Guess I'm going to have to return the ring... I've been flirting from the start and she was interested in me but I guess not anymore.
I got out of the restaurant to clear my head. And also not get humiliated by more people around me. I don't hate Katie. I know you're supposed to hate your ex but I still love her. I'm such an idiot. All I want to ask Katie is: Why?. It was so unexpected. I noticed a few things but I thought it was just because she missed her best friend or something.
**THE NEXT DAY** (Friday) **POV: ALEXA**
Today was my date since forever with Spencer. I was excited, I'm not going to lie. I know I didn't seem so keen at the start but that phone call... He basically changed my perspective and got my hopes up.
I got my red dress out of the shared washing machines from my floor dorms. I looked at myself in the mirror. I look ok. On my way out, I grab my tiny purse and set Google maps to: Le Soutine (whatever that place is but it sounds fancy)
As soon as I start walking, I feel slow, my high heels were probably the problem but I manage to make it.
Alexa stumbles into the restaurant.
Ok, looking for Spencer... Baldish, shortish dude...
A tall, handsome man with a head full of brown hair starts waving at Alexa.
Who's that? I looked my behind myself in case they were waving to someone else.
"Alexa!" The same man shouted.
That couldn't be... Spencer?
Alexa walked to him with a smile. They both hug. "Oh my god, you've changed!" Alexa says, happily "Haha, you too" Spencer says Alexa poses dramatically. "Really?" She says, half-chuckling.
A FEW MINUTES OF TALKING LATER...
"I've really missed you." Alexa states, Spencer looks charmed,"me too." He leans in towards Alexa... Alexa and Spencer close their eyes and they both kiss

(POV ALEXA)
Everything was going so well! I could see Katie tomorrow and I just kissed Spencer! You get to love life if you just give it a chance.
After our date, Spencer walked me home to my dorm. We mainly chatted about school and work. Once we both arrived, I went inside and said goodnight to Spencer who had to drive 6 hours back home tomorrow!
My table was now completely covered in papers and homework. I cried a little bit but then got this sudden mom urge to clean and organise it. Once I did that, I did (some) of it and went to bed feeling very proud and happy of today. Apart from that quiz in class... oh well.
**NEXT MORNING**
Someone knocks on my dorm room- waking me up,the time says 8 am and I'm still in my heart pyjamas.
I opened the door and rubbed my eyes before I could see who it was.
"Surprise!"
It was Spencer, all dressed with flowers and plane tickets in his hand... I didn't tell him I was going out to see my family today but those plane tickets must have been so expensive! What do I do?!
