**ALEXA POV** SUNDAY
Spencer and I were literally the best couple. I am at his house right now (I took a flight paid by my mother because she's a "hopeless romantic" apparently) But I did miss Katie- hopefully the text I sent her got the message through to her. What if she thought I was being sarcastic?! I think I'm just overthinking it. That's an ironic sentence. Anyway, I was going to see her today! I felt so bad I couldn't make it yesterday... Spencer had bought tickets and everything to see Francisco I just couldn't say no. He's so sweet.
I haven't seen Katie for a year.. it's my fault we grew apart anyway but this meet up will fix that.
"Alexa?" Spencer screams from the shower
"Yeah?"
"Can you message my mom on my phone declining dinner tomorrow?" Spencer explains
Spencer wants me to tell his mom, pretending to be him to reject her??
I was already practicing ways to say it.
Sorry mom, I have a huge thing tomorrow... next week? I really want to see you! :) love you and sorry 😭
Alexa picks up Spencer's phone, goes on messages and looks through his contacts. She sees a random message.
I saw a weird message an unknown had sent Spencer. I wanted to read it. Why not?
Wait. I should be a good person and not look in other peoples business.
Alexa starts searching for Spencer's mom again.
A message comes up on the phone from unknown user :
Spencer, listen. I've dated Alexa before. She's a liar. I've heard her talk about you in college. She says you're
annoying , self centred person and that she was going to break up with you the first chance she gets. Be careful dude. She also says you're ugly and she prefers Aiden YESTERDAY. I know you might not be able to trust someone on the internet but I am in her college. I can't give my name in case Alexa sees."
..are they talking about me?!?!?!?! what kind of insult is that?! WHO THE FUCK IS THIS BITCH!? I was literally with Spencer all day yesterday?!
And that was the second message. Alexa reads the first message too.
" You're already cheating Spencer, face it. Break up with that ugly FAT ASS BITCH "
He had seen both messages but no reply.unknown number and no contact info.
WHAT THE FUCK.
SPENCER'S ALREADY CHEATING?!
WHO EVEN IS THIS PERSON? IVE BARELY TALKED TO TEN PEOPLE IN COLLEGE!
He did ask me to text his mom... Maybe he wanted me to see the message?! See how'd I react?
WHY IS THIS UNknown troll TRYING TO RUIN MY LIFE.?
What did I do to them?!
If they were lying about me saying I said he was ugly and all that,they must have been lying about him cheating... right?
Alexa gets up and waits for Spencer to come out of the shower.
Spencer comes out of the bathroom.
"Oh hey." Spencer says calmly
"Um yeah hi..." Alexa responds back
"Are you dating anyone else?" I said
I'm such a fucking idiot. I probably destroyed our relationship all because of a stupid troll getting to me. I interrupt before he can answer.
"Never mind. Sorry, a period thought got to me. It's stupid to think you would cheat! You are an amazing boyfriend. I'm so sorry."
Hopefully that did it. And what the fuck is a period thought? It's fine though because even saying period in the same sentence to a male makes them not question a thing.
"Um. ok." Spencer walked off.
Did I make him annoyed? Maybe he knew I snooped on his phone? I can't even process what just happened.
I had to go to the airport now to go to Katie's house.
"Uhm I'm heading off now..!" I screamed, not even knowing where Spencer went.
No reply.
I picked up my coat and left-making sure to make my leave audible in case he didn't hear the first time. Spencer was going to drive me but I guess not anymore. I'll just call an uber.
***AFTER 3HR FLIGHT***
Luckily for me, the plane landed at the airport that was quite close to Katie's house and my neighbourhood so the taxi ride wouldn't be too long. I checked my phone; no texts from Spencer..
After a 20 minute car ride, I finally arrived at my house- it flashed so many memories all at once to me, memories all with Katie..
I got out the taxi, crying here we come.
I finally got a text through though- connecting to my old wifi for when I lived there. It was finally a text from Spencer. I stood frozen.
"I think I need a break."
What the fuck does that mean?
