Months passed and the baby girl had been born. Athena, Syrian, and Lia are in the sunroom admiring the new baby.

"She is so perfect," Athena whispered as she was holding her. Syrian brings his hand to touch the baby. "What should we call her?"  Athena thought for a bit, "We should call her Selene. Selene means moon."

Her name was given Selene which mean "The moon"

Years later a  war broke out in their country, and Athena felt a strong sense of duty to protect her homeland. With their heavy hearts, Athena and Syrian made a difficult decision to leave their daughters in the care of their loving auntie, Mary.

So sadly they had to leave their daughters alone.
It was morning, the sun barely rose, Ophelia and Selene were standing in front of their parents at the front door. Aunt Mary is consulting them. Selene bursts into tears. "Do you really hafta go," she questions with teary eyes.

"Yes, baby we really have to go. This wasn't our choice I promise. When we go-" Athena buries her face and breaks into tears. She couldn't handle seeing her daughters cry.

Ophelia comforted her mother. "Don't cry, mummy." She then hugs her.

"Remember," Syrian added. "Remember our love for you. And  how we are always here to protect you. Our soul is always here with you." Selene and Ophelia nod.  "Selene, I have something to give you." He then takes off his silver necklace which resembles a moon. "This is for you. Selene Rose. You are now the Moon keeper. And Ophelia you will be the keeper of the sun. You will now be able to do your duties. Remember what I told you girls?" Selene nods. "Yes, daddy. I love you."  Her dad then gets on his knees to hug her. "I love you too. My sweetheart." He hugs his other daughter "I love you too, Ophelia." "I love you too, daddy. I will miss you lots."

Before leaving for war, Athena and Syrian assured Lia and Selene that they would return as soon as possible. They promised to write letters and stay in touch, reminding their daughters of their unwavering love. The girls, though sad to see their parents go, found comfort in their auntie's warm embrace.

And so they left...

The sisters endured long days and sleepless nights, witnessing the devastation and loss that war brings. But their love for  each other and their shared determination never wavered. They found solace in each other's arms, providing comfort and support during the darkest moments.

As the war raged on, they witnessed acts of bravery and sacrifice from their fellow soldiers. They fought not only for their own survival but for the freedom and safety of their loved ones back home.
