Months turned into years and the war seemed to have no end in sight. Ophelia and Selene grew up missing their parents dearly, but Auntie Mary did her very best to provide them with love and support. She shared stories of their parents' bravery and encouraged the girls to stay strong.
As the girls entered their teenage years, they faced the challenges of growing up without their parents. Ophelia, the older sister, took on the responsibility of looking after Selene and became a pillar of strength for her. Despite the absence of their parents, Ophelia never lost hope. The Montgomery sisters wrote letters every week to their parents, pouring their hearts out. Auntie Mary, too, held onto the hope that one day their parents would return.
Ophelia excelled in school and found joy in their studies. Selene, on the other hand, is struggling with her worries and anxiety. So far she didn't make any new friends but failed many tests from school. She kept her distance from everyone and always locked herself in her room reading books. The only time she came out was breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Weeks turned into months and the girls had received terrible news: They died.
Their experience in war had taught them the value of life, the importance of love, and the strength that can be found in unity. They became heroes for peace.
And so, if the death didn't happen, the couple who had gone to war returned as beacons of hope, reminding the world that love and resilience can conquer even the darkest of times.
