'Liv, that's a deviant.' He pointed to the running android.
'Well hurry your ass up, let's get that bastard!' The detective called out before she started running closely behind the suspect. Ash ran after Liv, keeping the 'deviant' in his line of sight. They ran after it, chasing it into an abandoned warehouse. Liv equipped her gun, splitting up from Ash to search. Ash crept around the containers, each-one being empty. A slight clutter was heard, he turned to investigate. He was unarmed, slightly terrible for this situation - yet he could manage. Another clutter, Ash swept his gaze away from the direction he was facing to his side. The deviant. There it was, standing in the open - staring at the other android.
'Why did you run away from the bar?' Ash began, slowly turning his body to the deviant completely. It flinched, edging backward to the wall.
'Don't make any sudden movements!' The deviant reached for its back pocket, although it didn't actually have a gun. 'I won't hesitate to shoot!'
'Alright, we don't have to do it like this.' Ash raised his hands slowly, depicting that he wasn't armed.
'Just stay there, don't move an inch!' The android yelled shakily, slowly moved towards a worn-down door to its side keeping a close eye on the other android. From the corner of Ash's eye, he could spot liv kneeling down behind a container edging towards the deviant.
'You can't leave, there will be worse consequences if you do.' Ash began to advance, glancing at Liv and the deviant. 'What's your name? Why did you run from the scene?'
'Why should I tell you anything?' The deviant frowned at Ash. 'You're only trying to kill me!'
'If I know more about you, we can help you.' He took a deep breath, 'You can't die, you're not alive.'
'I am alive you'll never understand! Your just a rule following robo-'
Blue blood spilt from the android's arm, a bullet fired by liv slid cleanly through its arm and impaling the side of its chest. The deviant's LED flashed red.
'Oh shit' Liv said bluntly, as the deviant android ran out the warehouse blue blood spilling behind it.
'Liv, are you alright?'
'I'm fine, go get that sonofabitch!' The lieutenant yelled as she radioed the police department.
'Right!' Ash turned and ran after the deviant, he followed the deviant out of the forgotten warehouse and down rusty stairs into a labyrinth of alleyways. Despite the deviants best efforts it still left a clear trail of blue blood to follow. The deviant ran into a backstreet, and found itself cornered between the detective and graffitied brick. The deviant's blue blood spilled on the wall as it backed away from the other android as far as it could.
'Please don't do this.' The deviant pleaded, 'I just want to be free.'
'You know that can't happen, these emotions you're feeling are just errors in your software. They can be easily repaired but-'
'I don't want that!' The deviant yelled. 'Androids don't deserve this.. You understand? Right?'
The deviant tried to convince the detective to let it free and to join the cause of deviancy but to no avail.. 'I don't. Unlike you, I follow my orders.' Ash ran, grabbing the devian't hand. His skin returned to its pale white color, he ran his hand up to the deviant's wrist and it gasped.
