The two arrived quietly in the precinct, looks from others being shot towards the Android in particular. The deviant was taken to interrogation by other officers, leaving Liv and Ash to their desks. The lieutenant looked at her desk and sighed. The detective's desk was messy, case files and unfilled documents were scattered across her workspace.
On the flip side, Ash's desk was spotless. Probably because he hadn't been assigned to it for long. Ash looked across to Liv's desk, he blinked. His LED swirled as he scanned the area, quickly analyzing the space.He examined the area, and found dog hair on the back of the lieutenant's chair. It was from a male saint bernard. Looking around more the android found two half empty boxes of doughnuts which were dangerously high in calories.
The detective snapped her fingers 'What are you staring at.' Liv said irritated.
'Nothing.' The android stared at the detective, 'I noticed you have a dog.'
'How did you know that?' Liv frowned.
'There are dog hairs on your chair.' Ash stated, 'What's your dog's name? I like dogs.'
The lieutenant hesitated, 'His name's Sumo... now stop with the questions, jesus.'
'Alright.' The android looked around his own desk, practically spotless.
'Hey, uh lieutenant?' An officer began, walking up behind Liv. She turned and began to have a conversation with him. Ash watched, depicting what they were saying through their mouth movements.
'Alright, Ash, stay here.' The Lieutenant stood, following the officer to the interrogation room. He sat for a moment, watching them walk off. His LED swirled white, appearing back to blue. He had been given new orders, not those from Liv. Ash stood up, he glanced at the Lieutenant's desk once more before heading to the interrogation room. He pushed open the door, two officers placed eyes on him. Liv was on the other side of the glass, staring dead-on with the deviant. Ash walked into the room, standing behind the officers.
'What's the android doing here?' One officer whispered.
'I dunno.' The other shrugged.
'Why did you poison him?' Liv's voice echoed through the intercom. The deviant had no response, it just stared at her.
'Officers.' Ash began, stepping toward the two. They turned to look at him.
'What?' The officer asked, not politely though.
'Do we know the android's name?' Ash asked, looking toward Liv in the other room before back at the officer.
'Uh- it's-' He quickly flipped through the file next to him, checking the information. 'Colin.'
'Colin. Has the lieutenant gotten it to talk yet?' Ash asked, yet the officer stood up and pushed him.
'Listen here you fucking android.' He began, grabbing Ash's collar. 'You better shut up before I make you. It's bad enough that you're here, before we know it you'll replace us all.' He let go of Ash with a glare. 'Interrogating the deviant is not your job, so can it, you piece of-'
'Officer.' Liv suddenly said. The two turned. She was right there. 'Is something wrong?' The officer shook his head, walking slowly back to the desk. 'You okay, A-'
'Can I talk to the deviant?' Ash cut her off, looking at her. Liv just nodded, watching him. He exited the room, turning to go into the interrogation. He simply straightened his tie, walking in.
