Detective Jue: The Witness

Chapter 13: Rfile 014 to die and be reborn..

Five days past since that night. Almost a week. Jue was able to convinced Chief Thompson to leave hostages in the theater for more observation. James has been sitting in a asylum til further notice on the matter. As for Ethan he haven't heard from Jue he's been calling and calling. He didn't want to come off as a bug-a-boo, but he was excited about helping vessels fight demons with the power of GOD.
After his seventh call, he got a call from a different number.
"Uhh, He-hello?"
"Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ ALMIGHTY." A female voice cited. He noticed it was Thekla.
"And that means?" He asked.
"It means to be patient, Romans 15:5." She explained.
"In other words he's tired of you rushing him, so I'm gonna start you off meet me at our department." Thekla told him.
Ethan came down to the SALSD department. He went in as he saw Thekla reading her hologram Bible. He looked around as he saw holograms of scriptures and news articles of the Realm Files they cracked over the years. Well mostly Jue.
"Ok Ethan before Jue sees you, imma give you the history of what we do." Thekla started. She placed her holopad on the table as displays appeared. The display showed different cases, and silhouette of the phases of Jue and the founding of SALSD.
"When he graduated Highschool, he thrive to make a change so he aimed to be a detective of te police department." Thekla explained. It showed a silhouette of a teenage Jue moving towards the Police department.
"However, the carnal ways of how the police department clashed with spirituality for God so he left seeking something more." She went on. The display now showed Jue leaving and searching.
"Is this little introduction mandatory?" Ethan yawned. Thekla bumped into his chair knocking him off balance a little.
"Yes. Yes it is. Now where was I?," she asked herself reading over the display, "Ahh here we go, now Jue knew there was Angels an demons and evil powers and Holy powers of TMH. In his early 20s he decided to take on paranormal cases, thus being blessed to be called the spiritual Detective." She explained some more. The displayed showed a young Jue facing off demons. Thekla moved on to the last display.
"June 15th, 3023, detective Jue founded Set Apart Living Spiritual Detectives. The department that specializes in the spiritual known, unknown. By the power of TMH himself." She finished as Ethan gave a sarcastic applaud.
"Wow. You guys are the real deal huh?" He joked chuckling. She got in his face now making him nervous.
"Mmmm, you have no I deal." She countered back.
"Let's not scare the new guy." Jue said walking in. He was still feeling down from allowing that demon to get away.
"Anyone who told you being Goldy, following God, is a goodie two shoes route anyone she make my God out to be some gullible hippy!" Jue looked at him seriously,"they lied to you Ethan."
"Any true Soul following THE GREAT I AM THAT I AM. Before it was him. It was death. Me. Thekla. Adil as well, we where all dead. Ethan. Spiritual death, however the Father lifted us from the grave." Jue explained. Ethan never heard that being dead. Yet he was alive. 'To live yet to still be dead' Ethan thought.
"What your looking for, asking for, you will have to destroy everything you are, everything you know, and start anew become a new." Jue carried on. He grabbed a Bible from the 21st century, the only copy.
"To unlock the Fathers Godly powers within you, You must be born again." Jue told him as Ethan listened in awe.
