~ 2021~
As we're starting to get towards the beginning of an end I'm getting more nervous for the premiere. We had to stop filming for a while because of Covid-19 and everything but it's 2021 now and the premiere isn't until next year. Though it won't be for a while I'm starting to look for dresses already, I was thinking about getting a red off-the-shoulder or a black gown or maybe white with rhinestones to represent one of Elvis's most famous outfits but I don't know for sure. Of course, I want to look good for myself But I also want to look perfect for Austin.
It's the last day of filming for me, it's the huge concert scene where Elvis decides to be the real him and doesn't hide. You know the scene outside at night and he has to get escorted out by the police? That scene. It's an intense one for everyone involved especially Austin I know he's going to be exhausted after this.
I do the usual, get into costume, do my makeup and go to the hairdressers and get my hair done. I ask for extra hairspray and put on a little setting powder because I'm going to be sweating my ass off during this scene.
I get to the set and I see Austin getting his makeup finished up. He opens his eyes and he sees me and both our eyes light up. I run towards him and give him a huge hug.
"Hey!" He beams
"Hi!" I begin "I'm so excited for this scene, everyone's is gonna be DRENCHED in sweat but it's gonna be great! I'm sure you're already dreading how exhausted you're going to be after this."
"Yeah, but I've been preparing for this for a couple of years so I think I'll be fine baby." He smiled
Did he just call me baby? Oh my god, I could just eat him alive.
I was about to say something until Baz started talking
"CAN I HAVE EVERYONE'S ATTENTION? EVERYONE ON SET CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION!?"
Everyone got quiet.
"Thank you." He begins speaking into the megaphone
"As you know today is a very important day and that means we will stay here and as long as we need to to get this scene right. With that being said if you take public transportation find a ride NOW! The chances of you getting on the last ride are slim to nothing."
Multiple people got their phones out. I looked at Austin and gave him a thumbs up and he gave one back.
"Tomorrow you will all have the day off. And make sure to give warm goodbye to most of the cast, we're close to the end you guys. Make sure you don't screw this up."
Everyone stood in silence
"Alright! Let's get this up and running."
Immediately people start to run and get in their place. Oh my god, It was cold out already. I couldn't imagine what it was going to be like by the time we were done.
Austin made it on to the stage. And I got settled in the crowd. I tried to get close to the stage as I could but I couldn't make it that far. It was PACKED with people.
"1..2..3 ACTION," Baz screamed at the top of his lungs
The scene started with Elvis telling Tom he wasn't going to change just because people didn't like him. His Parents and others behind the platform. And the guards getting ready to fight off the crowd they knew was coming. Then it started, He sang Trouble.
"I'M GONNA SHOW YOU WHAT THE REAL ELVIS IS LIKE TONIGHT." He shouted
The music started and the crowd roars. Unlike before where it was mostly girls the guys were going insane over him as well.
