- This is a lengthy chapter but also an important one, I hope you enjoy it! -
Since I'm not doing the movie anymore, I decided to start back full time at the cafe I work at then Austin picks me up from work. Sometimes I work overtime because they go late but it's okay, I don't have anything else better to do. we go back to mine usually sometimes his but it's a personal choice. I just like my home. We're together so much sometimes I think it would make more sense if we moved in together.
It's Friday and he should be here any minute, as usual, he had the weekend off and we're going to spend it together. It's 11:50 pm and I hear a honk outside. I look outside and it's Austin, I close up the shop and get in the car.
"Hey!" he greets me with a peck on the cheek
"Hey! How was work?"
"Oh you know, dancing, singing, acting all that stuff." He smiles "what about you? How was work."
"You know making coffee, serving pastries all that stuff," I reply
"Haha yeah... um, I've been thinking."
"Yes?"
"We've never really been on like a REAL date, we have house "dates" at your house but never a real date where I take you out to a restaurant and we catch a movie or something you know?"
"Yes.." I say increasingly more interested
"So, would you want to do something like that?"
"Oh my god, are you kidding me, yes? Yes, I would love that." I exclaimed
"Great how about a movie and dinner tomorrow? My treat of course."
"Yes yes yes!!!! Oh my god, I thought you would never ask yes please." I squeal
"Alright!" He says starting the car "you choose the time, movie, and place it's your day girl."
We got home and got to thinking about what I wanted to go see, Free Guy just came out and it has people I know in it, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Ryan Reynold's, and a bunch of other people. I decided on Free Guy. Now for a time because the time I pick depends on the restaurant I choose. Since it was a movie and dinner instead of dinner and a movie I choose 7:20 pm for the time. Now for the restaurant, I've been craving the Oreo cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory like hell so I decided there.
Now the most nerve-racking part, what am I going to wear? I mean it's my first real date since... forever so it's just a little important to me.
When we got home I immediately went to my closet and started ripping it into shreds trying to find something to wear for tomorrow. After 30 minutes of looking, I decided to choose between, a floor-length off-shoulder dress, a casual white ruffled knee-length dress, and a pink slip dress.
After minutes of debate I decided on the white one, the black is too fancy and the pink is too casual. It's a dress from Cider. I decided to pair that dress with some white boots. I showed Austin my outfit and he decided it would only be appropriate to wear a white button-down and black slacks. Nothing wrong with that he looks amazing in white button-downs.
I tried on my outfit to make sure I looked the same as it did in my head, and it did I loved it. I hear a deep voice coming from outside the door peeking into the room.
"Wow, you look drop-dead gorgeous." Austin expressed with a twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes
"Oh" I murmured "Dang it, I wanted you to see it for the first when I was all prettied up." you laughed
"You're always prettied up to me sunshine."
"Sunshine, you've never called me that before." I laughed
