Author's note: Hi there! It's been a long time since I played with this story. :) I want you all to know that I am eternally grateful for the love I get for this story and all the smiles I have been able to smile, all thanks to the beautiful comments I get here. Thank you so very much!
I was trying out something new for my Insta page and my friend asked me to try writing this story in the same poetry format. I thought that it made sense for me to post it here as well. The place where it all began. :)
Hope you like it.
Until we meet again!

The Balcony - Poem Version

Imagine two sides
Of the same universe
One belonged to her
And the other to him.
They were lost
Both in their own worlds.
Paths uncrossed
In such a small world!
She still stuck to her lane
And he with his.
Until fate intervened with its own tale
Including a balcony or two.
He played a tune she didn't want to listen.
So, she threw him a note
Unknowingly setting the wheels in motion.
The worlds collided as the words collided
Caution tossed carefully to the wind.
But stories often begin long before we realize.
History shaped in fear quickly took charge.
He hastily retreated
Unknowingly playing all the wrong chords
She sighed and turned back
Once bitten, twice shy.
But the universe had already had a taste of the story.
How could it not ask for more!
They ran as far away from each other
As far as they could.
But love laughed and held up a mirror
For the truth to reflect in their eyes.
Finally yesterday relented and smiled as she let go
Finally today welcomed a story
One for the lore.
