* sigh *

We're in our new home and I still haven't unpacked all my boxes. Me and my dad moved to New Jersey because my mom got another job that had her moving to Japan.

Our old house was too big for two people and in the end only my mom liked it. Dad and I didn't really like the house or the Ohio neighborhood we lived in, and my old school sucked too. Dress code, sleazy guys, annoying teachers - the full program. I'd probably have all that at my new school too, but what could you do. I think I just needed a new start or something. Well it didn't matter.. let's see how it would turn out, right?

Anyway, I had the rest of the week until my first day of school at Belleville High. And today was wednesday. I was just going to put a few things in my closet and vacuum and mop my room, otherwise I'd feel uncomfortable, until someone knocked on my door.

" Y/n. Dinner is ready. Please turn off the hallway light when you come down.", my dad said from outside my room.

" Okay."

I heard my dad go down the stairs into the dining room, and I walked out of my room, across the hall, where I stopped briefly to flip of the light switch and then did the same. Then I took a seat on one of the 6 chairs made of oak.

"And what else do you have planned for today? After all, it's only 3 p.m.," my dad asked from the open kitchen.

"Not much. A little unpacking and putting away some stuff and then playing bass, I guess. And you?" I answered.

He frowned a little: "I have another appointment from work in a few minutes. So I wanted to ask you if you could go shopping in my place?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, sure, when?"

The corners of his mouth went up and he smiled with relief. "I don't really care, as long as it's today. And remember that the supermarket closes at 9:00, 'kay?"

"Yup, all right. I think I'll just go now before it gets dark."

"Ok honey, you do that. Here's the shopping list and money, and bring something for yourself too." He grinned.

"I will, thanks. See you." I gave him a short hug, took my keys, the list and the money, packed everything in my bag and walked out of the house. With Blink 182 blasting through my headphones, I set off on foot to the nearest grocery store.

I arrived at the supermarket and a few hundred meters away I already recognized the bright red shining sign. I looked around briefly and discovered a few figures on a car roof, but I didn't think much about it. Certainly some stoned teens. Already entered the parking lot, I went determined step towards the entrance.

Gerard POV:

F: ,, Dudeee do u c that girl over there? How can someone be that hot dafuq-?"

G: ,, Huh who do u mean Frank?"

F: ,, That girl over there! Black hair, green highlights, leather jacket, black nails?"

G: ,,Where Frank I don't c-    Oh-"

F: ,,Oh? That's all u can say? Oh?"

  Wait- ARE U BLUSHING GEE?"

G: ,,Shut tf up Frank! I'm not!"

F: ,,HOLY SHIT U ARE! U THINK SHE'S CUTE!"

I looked at her for a sec and noticed that she's smirking. Fuck bro.

Y/n POV:

,,HOLY SHIT U ARE! U THINK SHE'S CUTE!"

Huh. I looked around and noticed those guys on top of an old pick-up truck. It's the guys I had seen before, but now I was able to make out their features better.

4 guys: a tall one with a fro, one with glasses, a short one with short black hair and piercings and one with medium length black hair, a leather jacket and a very nice face. I gotta admit: the last one was overall kinda cute.

And was that a Motörhead t-Shirt he was wearing? Damn. Neways they were the ones who had that rather loud conversation.

I looked around a second time, but there was no one besides myself. So I guess they meant me? I smiled to myself.

,,Thank u sugar, you're kinda cute yourself.", I shouted back, smirked at him a last time and walked towards the entrance of the supermarket.

I had noticed a slight blush on the cheeks of that leather jacket dude. Aww.

I opened the doors to the supermarket when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw...?

,, Uhm hi, I'm Gerard."

...Gerard.

,,Nice name u got there Gerard.", I smirked.

,, Thank you. So, uhm, I wanted to ask for your number-?"

Well shit.

,,Maybe another time cute stuff.", I winked and left into the grocery store.

The boys: (nobody's pov)

Gerard made his way back to them.

,,Bro I didn't know you were that brave.", Mikey snickered.

R: ,, Yeah man, I'm really proud of ya."

G: ,, Well too bad she didn't give me her number." He looked down awkwardly.

M: ,, Wait what? She didn't? Pff- "

R:,, Mikes that's not funny.", Ray rebuked him with a semi stern look.

M:,, I know, I know, but well yes it kinda is. I'm sorry." He laughed a little.

G:,, It's okay. I mean, there are other fish in the sea, right?" He still looked kinda sad.

F:,, Yeah but no fish will ever be as hot as her bro."

R:,, Frank that's very mean of ya."

F:,, No it's not.", he laughed. ,,It's the truth. Like have you seen her? She's a big smash dude."

R:,, Yeah, you're right on that one."

G:,, I guess I wouldn't have a chance anyway."

F:,, Well neways. You guys wanna come over to mine and play Mario kart?"

R:,, Yeah sure."

They all got in Franks car and began to make their way back to Franks'.

-on the road-

F:,, Wait guys! Isn't that the girl from earlier?"

G:,, whut?"

M:,, Oh yeah, I think that's her."

Frank began to drive slower, opened the car window and leaned out a little bit:„ Yo beautiful!"
Y/n turned around. ,, Huh?"
F:,, At least tell him your name.", he smiled.
Y/n laughed:,, Pff nah bro, I'd rather not."
,, Pwetty pwease.", Frank pleaded with puppy eyes.
She groaned. ,, Okay Okay. I'm Y/n L/n , and u are?"
,, Come over to mine and we'll tell u.", The short one winked.
,, Well smartass but how do I know u r not a rapist or such?", the girl pointed out.
He smiled: ,, I guess u have to trust us on that one darling."
,, God okay.", she sarcastically groaned while rolling her eyes.

Mikey opened the back door and moved down the middle to make room for her. The girl got in the car, sat down and closed the door again.
