It took me a second to really concentrate on what who it was.

"Mattheo?" I asked.

"Oh y/n! You're awake!" He fell to his knees right in front of me.

I tried to sit up, "What do you mean awake? I just fell."

His concerned look deepened, "y/n... you've been unconscious for almost 15 minutes..."

I could feel myself becom even more pale then I was after fainting, "what?!"

Suddenly the memories from earlier rushed into my brain. I remembered the conversation between George and Fred and everything they had been saying. I remembered the blasting music, and I even remembered leaving.

"Yeah." He paused, "You really didn't know?"

"Know what?"

"About Fred and George. And their parties?"

"No! I- I had no idea. But for them to single out Ravenclaw?" I started rambling, "Like, I mean what did they ever do? Just because we care about our school work doesn't mean we don't like other things. And me?! How could they have not told me! We're best friends! Or at least I thought we were best friends. And who are they to say who can and can't go to that party? But what about-"

Mattheo cut me off, "y/n!"

I pursed my lips, "Sorry..."

Mattheo put his hand on my shoulder, "That party was Fred and George's."

I tilted my head, "What?"

"They've been hosting parties like this for years, at least that's what I've been told. I knew they didn't usually tell Ravenclaws about it, but I thought they would've told you at least. I'm sorry I brought you there. I- I really am."

I started standing up, "No... don't be. I had fun! I really did. I'm glad I went."

It honestly hurt. The more I thought about it the more places I felt it. George and Fred had been my safe place. They were always there and I could tell them anything. It went both ways—but apparently not.

I always went to them when I started feeling anxious or any sort of panic attack coming on. They were the only ones who could stop my mind from spinning.

My mind went beserk. Was it all an act? Did they actually care about me? Were they doing this party thing to seem cool? Was that their true selves? What about all the times they... (etc, etc.)

Mattheo stood up, and held out his hand, "Come on,"

I took his hand and he twirled his wand, still lit.

He smiled, "Some sleep might make it all seem a little bit better."

He began leading me back through the halls and stairs, and eventually we ended up outside of the ravenclaw tower.

"Oh and I hope you haven't forgotten about our deal." He let go of my hand, "I know just because you're a Ravenclaw doesn't mean you can't break the rules a little."

I rolled my eyes, "I never agreed to anything."

"Oh but we both know you wanted to."

He tipped his head and pretended to have a hat on, "Until next time m'lady."

I raised my eyebrows and laughed a little bit. I watched him grow smaller and smaller, softly lit up by the wall's lanterns.
