THE SUN WAS shining down on the civilians of planet Xandar as the Ravagers ship could be seen floating high above while smaller ships were flying out and down towards the bright blue sky, way above the clouds that if people were to look up, they most likely wouldn't catch sight of the many ships flying out of the larger once until they either did a double take or if the ships flew right through the white, fluffy-looking clouds.
Inside the Milano, Y/n could be seen in one the seats by the front, just a bit in front of Groot and beside Drax as Gamora and Quill had taken the spots at the front, Quill being the one to actually drive the ship through the sky with all the other Ravagers inside the other smaller ships.
It wasn't long until they saw Ronan's large ship just ahead and high above the sky as they heard Yondu's voice through the radios, a bright orange forcefield-like substance being shot towards it as it expanded before all the ships followed Yondu's orders and flew down and under the forcefield, moving around and upwards in the direction of Ronan's ships. Shouting to the raccoon in the other ship, Quill's eyes watched as Rocket flew right by them, followed by two other ships.
Eventually, they were shooting at the large ship just as pods were being flown out of Ronan's ship and towards the many Ravagers ships underneath their leader's. All of a sudden, Ronan's ship was moving just a bit. Once hearing the shout from Rocket, Quill and Yondu were flying up, dodging the shots being fired everywhere and in their direction as well as explosions could be seen all around.
Yondu's voice suddenly came through the radio as he informed the group he was going down, his ship having been shot at and declaring he'd see Quill and the teenager he grew to care for over the years once this war was done.
Quill continued to move the ship around, dodging the shots and explosions just as the side of the Milano was slightly hit, Gamora warning to Rocket that there were too many. The man continued onwards, determined to get closer Ronan's ship just as Y/n noticed familiar ships that belonged to the Nova Corps just ahead of them and around them, pointing it out for the group to see.
"Peter Quill. This is Denarian Saal of the Nova Corps." A voice comes through the radio. "For the record, I advised against trusting you here."
"They got my 'dick' message!" Quill exclaims with a smile.
"Prove me wrong." The officer adds.
Almost right after that, the human was pushing on the handle and speeding forward until they were flying right through the large hole that Rocket and the Ravagers had made by shooting at it, the hole being big enough just for them to fit inside. The ship glided along the walls and the floor as they were finally in Ronan's ship just as Drax began to laugh loudly, causing Y/n to share a confused expression with the two adults in front of her.
