THE SUN WAS shining brightly on the citizens of Xandar, all of them now back to their normal lives as they tried to forget about the evil Ronan who had tried to destroy their planet until the Guardians of the Galaxy saved them. Ships being heard and seen were flying around in the air, the loud engine being heard all around as crowds of civilians could be seen shopping for the day, families having their children with them so they wouldn't get lost throughout the crowd.

The water along the planet Xandar was the same color as it usually was, the sun reflecting against the waves. The clouds were high in the bright blue sky, the white fluffy-looking clouds occasionally covering the bright yellow star and hiding it from people's watchful eyes before it'd come back out and shine on the many people, creatures and animals living on the planet, just like all the planets in the galaxy.

Only a few days had gone by since the large war against the the Ravagers, Nova Corps and the group of six had defeated Ronan and almost everyone on Xandar knew about the Guardians of the Galaxy who had saved them and had taken down Ronan while also trapping the Infinity Stone inside the orb they had given to the Nova Corps for safe keeping, knowing how dangerous it was.

Inside the Nova Headquarters, the sun was shining through the windows as the Nova Corps stood around a table with the Guardians of the Galaxy. The color white could be seen all over the walls, floor, ceiling and even most of the furniture as the entire building was looking fancy. A hologram of of Quill could be seen in the middle of the table as the said man was listening on to what the Nova Corps were suspecting as they recalled him holding the Infinity Stone and not being killed when he held it.

Standing in between him and Gamora, Y/n looked at the Nova Corps curiously as she had her arm in a sling. Luckily, she had been checked on and would just need her arm to be in a sling for a bit until it would heal. Dey stood on the other side of Quill, the leader of the Nova Corps, Iran Rael, having her hands clasped behind her back as she stood formally in front of the people who had saved her planet and the people who lived on it, always and forever thanking them in her mind for what they had done.

"Why would you even know this?" Quill asks.

"When we arrested you, we noticed an anomaly in your nervous system, so we had it checked out." Dey informs.

Quill furrows his brows. "I'm not Terran?"

"You are half Terran. Your mother was of Earth. Your father, well, he's something very ancient we've never seen here before." Rael tells him.

"That could be why you were able to hold the stone for as long as you did." Y/n suggests with a shrug.

"Your friends have arrived." Rael announces as Drax and Rocket walk in. "On behalf of the Nova Corps, we'd like to express our profound gratitude for your help in saving Xandar. If you will follow Denarian Dey, he has something to show you."
