I woke up in the middle of the night to a chanting sound.

"Guardian gods of the South hear my prayer." The rest was muffled.

I slowly stood up off the couch accidentally waking Emma too. Emma and I crept over to Bailyn's room and saw her reading a book while an orb floated in the center of the room. She read 1 more sentence when the orb grew a string and slowly lowered to the ground.

"What is that?" I was panicking.

"It's a charmed necklace it will keep you safe." Bailyn was still very calm.

"Who are you really?" I asked.

"I'm your guardian. I've protected your family for generations."

"What was the floating orb?"

"It's a charmed necklace. It will protect you."

There was a sudden loud knock at the door.

"You must leave danger lies behind that door! Go! Go out the side door and head to the wishing well. Jump down it. Don't forget your necklace." She was speaking rapidly as she put the necklace around my neck. I ran out the back door but not before I yelled "thank you!"

I didn't hear a response but I was satisfied. Out side the sun had almost come up and the stone walk way was slightly illuminated. I then saw the well, it had a mist pouring out of it. I ran up to it and surveyed it carefully.

BACK AT ANNA'S HOUSE

MOM'S POV

It's been almost 24 hours and I am scared to death. She has been missing for so long. What if she has been kid napped? What if she's hungry? What if she's dead? That's the one question that won't leave my mind. I hope she is okay.

IN THE FUTURE

SARA\ANNA'S POV

The well looked deep and dark. Yet I still did what the old lady said, I jumped and it looked like the black hole in which I came here.
