"Dear I have one question." My mother asked
"Yes?" I was ready to leave.
"Do you want me to call you Anna or Sara?" She had a sort of mournful voice.
"Anna, call me Anna." I wasn't scared of the world any more I know I could do this.
"Okay now lets go to Wal-mart." Her voice suddenly perked up. We both ran to the cube and my mother sped down the road doing 80 in a 35 zone. She pulled into Wal-marts parking lot and I slammed open my door and darted inside. It was a horror show. Dead shoppers every where and screams all around me.
"Help! Help!" I heard woman cry out for help.
"Mommy! No! Mommy!" A little girl was in tears, her mother being taken from her. A Rusker walked right past me carring a passed out man. I ducked behind a check out counter.
"Anna! Help m-" My mom was screaming but she was cut off by the Rusker.
"Oh Anna. Help. Help." A familiar voice sent a chill down my back. The voice was mocking my mothers. I jumped out from behind the counter.
"Hey! You!" I was trying to sound tough.
"Oh look who we have here. A brave mortal." It was future me, she was wearing a black and red gown with Frankenstein boots.
"Let my mother go." She was holding my mother up by her hair.
"Never. What are you going to do? Stop me? As if." She was laughing.
"I will stop you!" I was scared.
"Ha! I'm Queen of the Underworld." She was the devils wife.
"I'll do anything, just set my mother free." I was crying.
"Kill yourself with a dagger." She handed me a dagger.
"Mom I love you...." My voice trailed off as I plunged the dagger into my heart. I some how awoke and I was in the same outfit as Emma,I had a Ruby crown though.
"Ah. Anna!" Emma was very happy to see me.
"What. How." i was in awe.
"You have commit a grateful act of sacrifice you are now a Guardian." Emma was still calm. She walked me to my castle and I settled in nicely.
I shut the book and kissed my son on the forehead.
"Mommy! That was a cool story." He was happy.
"I'm glad you liked it! Good night Sweetheart!" He smiled and I turned out his light. I will never tell him that that was no story it was my life. He will never know, he is safe in this world and he will never know about the dangers. He needs nothing to worry about. I walk into my bedroom where my husband lies in bed sleeping, I crawl into bed too and Hope that my son will never find out.
