Royalty pervaded the entire room. The curtains were made up of rich silks, and gold decors in the right places, and the furniture of the finest quality shone in the room. The aroma of strong wine filled the luxurious room.
Close to the room's balcony sat two people. Touching her lips to the rim of the old fermented red wine, she said "So you moved her into his house?"
He stirred the wine in his glass and looked at the sheer red color splash against the glass thoughtfully. "She was taking her sweet time. I had to do something about it. I won't wait."
"So you got impatient and you had to meet her again, didn't you?" She gulped the wine and slammed the wine glass on a wooden table beside her.
"Now now." He said, gently placing his wine glass and wrapping his arms around her waist, "We don't wanna get too worked up."
She turned her head away sternly and placed her hands on his chest to pull her away. "Leave me if that cunt is what is dear to you."
"I never said that, darling." He smiled and with his free hand gently grabbed her palm and brushed his thumb against it. "I was simply killing my boredom when you seem to spend a lot of time thinking about him."
"I'm doing this all for you!" She cried. "And you're here betraying me." He kissed her palm and looked into her desperate gaze.
"You've betrayed me once. It's only fair that I play a fair game here." He said, pulling a strand of her short hair behind her ear. She tried avoiding his gaze, partly from guilt and partly from anger. He circled her bare back sending chills down her spine.
"You know how to make me weak, Theo." She gasped.
Her words soon muffled into screams by the end of the night under the bright moonlight. The serene vicinity suffused with the feeling of desire with only one unaffected, Theodore.

"If our boss wasn't gay, I would've made a move man!" One of my colleagues shouted. If it wasn't for the bar we were at, things would have escalated quickly.
I internally laughed. Reece is gay?
The lady beside me swung her hands around my shoulder and continued her story about how she would seduce Reece while I patiently planned my way out of the bar, mentally. Today was a colleague's get-together where they had booked an entire room for celebrating the pay raise. The busy restaurant, the meat sizzling behind, the people laughing, some crying, on my shoulder to be precise, was a scene worth seeing. High alcohol tolerance is a blessing sometimes.
I never thought I would be in this scenario but how you look seems to affect your image. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked out of the door. I was rarely capable of turning heads with my looks alone, especially with mascara and lipstick but today even with the same makeup I could feel people looking at me. Funny how a simple outfit can change people's opinions about you, even if it is a simple emerald suit paired with a lace bralette. Maybe expensive tastes better; even to my colleagues.
My phone rang, it was a good excuse to get out of there. Pushing my weight on my hands, I stood up from the chair and took my leave. Despite not feeling tipsy, I could feel my head hurt a little. I got a cab to take me home.
The adrenaline from the liquor had my face flushed even though I was in my senses. I got into the apartment but before I could head to my room, I noticed Reece's room open. I had never seen him keep his door unlocked in his absence, but people are prone to slip at times.
I stumbled near his door and pushed it with my index finger. When it opened easily, a smile crept on my face.
It was an opportunity.
