For the next few days, Steven and I did a lot of relaxing and had a lot of sex. We swam in the lake, went out to dinner, and did some shopping. When the 17th rolled around, I was sad to have to leave our oasis.

Around 5AM, I went to grab my sister from my parents' house. I left Steven at home sleeping since it would probably be one of the last good nights of sleep he would have for awhile. I pulled into the driveway and got out of my car. I went to the front door and walked right in. My sister was waiting in the hallway with all of her bags in hand.

"Hey Janie!" she beamed. "I'm so excited! Where's Steven?" she asked.

"I left him at home sleeping. He doesn't get much sleep on the road." I smiled at her and took a few of her bags. They weighed a hundred pounds.

"What do you have in here? A ton of bricks?" I asked her. "Your only going to be gone for 4 days max." I lugged her bags out to the car, nearly breaking my arms off. We loaded up and I drove us back to the house.

"Well here we are. The Tyler residence." I chuckled. Katie was awe-struck.

"This house is huge! Look at the lake view!" she beamed.

"Well we aren't going to be here long. I just have to wake Steven up and grab his stuff and we're out of here. Make yourself at home, I'm gonna go get him." I told her.

I quietly tiptoed up the stairs to our bedroom and opened the door. I made my way over to the bed and crawled in on my side. I slid over and rubbed Steven's back.

"Baby? It's time to wake up and leave for the sound check." I coaxed him out of his slumber.

He stirred and turned over to face me. "Mmmm. Good morning." he said.

I smiled at his sleepy face and kissed him gently on the lips. "Come on. We gotta get on the road." I said. I got up off the bed and headed to the closet to pack up all the things we needed for the shows. I grabbed Steven's stage costumes, his make-up, money, and a few changes of clothes. I shoved most of it in a duffle bag, but hung his costumes up in the fourier. I packed myself clothes and make-up too. I started to carry all the things to the car.

"Do you need help Janie?" called my sister from the couch.

"No, I'm good Kate. Thanks though." I called back to her.

I put all the stuff in the car and then ran back upstairs. Steven was dressed and carrying his costumes. "Ready to go?" he asked.

"Yeah I'm ready." I told him. We both came down the stairs together.

"Ready, Katie? We're leaving." I told her. She jumped off the couch and practically ran out of the house.

"Well. Someone's excited." I laughed. Steven was still half asleep.

"I'll drive." I told Steven.

We hopped in the car and drove the 2 hours back to our house in Boston on Commonwealth Avenue. When we finally got there, I was ready to go inside and take a nap. We walked up the stairs to the top floor, which was ours. Everyone was already there. I immediately went in to see everyone.

"Hey Terry!" I pulled her in for a hug. "Missed you!"

"Hey Lori!" I hugged her too.

I waved to Elyssa. "Hey Elyssa." I said to her.

I hugged each one of the boys. Then, I remembered we had brought Katie with us.

"Oh! Guys! This is my sister, Katie. She's a huge Aerosmith fan and she's really nervous. So don't scare her too bad." I smiled.
