Alexs pov:
"Alex! Where are all of my essential oils?!" Allyssa yelled from where she was digging in the trunk of the car."Your father needs them!"
"I think that there already in the house,mom!" Alex yelled back from the kitchen."They might be in the basement,do you want me to check?"
"Yeah, that would be great! Wait why would they be in the basement?" His mom called back.
"Cause the movers put a bunch of boxes in there"alex says coming out on the porch"I'm going to go find the basement.i don't know why this house is so big! It used to just be the alpha and his beta!"
"Yes,well from what I've heard, the old alpha was an egotistical bastard who threw his weight around and probably thought that having a humongous house would elevate him in the eyes of his pack!"she states vehemently.
Alex laughs and says"mom your talking like an English teacher again! But your probably right"he sighs,"it's going to take a lot of work to get this pack back on track"
"Yes it will and it will start with you getting my essential oils from the basement! Now shoo! Go get them!"she says laughingly.

Wills pov:
The door to the basement screeched open and the stairs made an ominous creaking noise as someone came down them. Will curled into a tighter ball int he corner of his "room". To say room would be too generous. It was a glorified closet.
Well,it was nice having a break,his wolf Lucius sighed.yeah it was nice,will thought back.i just hope that they let us eat something after,he said. Well they better! It's been about two weeks since he's let us come upstairs!Lucius exclaimed angrily. Hush! You know that anger gets us nowhere!Alex reprimanded. Lucius sighed and said,your right I'm just so frustrated! I know,this is hard on you, but just be patient! Maybe the new alpha will let you go for a run before he realizes! Alex said.

Will could hear someone muttering to themselves about how they should really clean up down here. Just then the door to wills room opened causing him to curl up impossibly smaller and whimper in fear.

"What the hell?!" He yelped as he saw the body curled up the corner of the closet. At the same time as he saw the person an amazing scent got caught in his nose. Mate! His wolf yelped. What? He asked. Mate! That's our mate! I can't reach his wolf though I think something is wrong! Alexs wolf said. I'll get him out of here first before washing him about his wolf,he thought to himself." Hey are you okay?"he asked. His mate just whimpered in fear and curled up tighter." It's okay! I won't hurt you! I'm your mate!" He reassured the boy. All of a sudden the scent of tears and fear clogged the air so thickly,Alex could hardly breathe.
