Chapter - XII

"We'll go in pairs, in such a way that both of them aren't scared of what their partner fears. 2 pairs will go to the left and the rest will go to the right. According to the map, the left side leads to the washroom and the business class and first class compartments, the 2 pairs that will be going there will be investigating the spot. They'll stick together until they cross the first class compartment...If the map is not wrong there are 2 ways after they come across the first class. One of the pairs will go to the right and the other to the left. It is shown there in the beginning of the hallway on the left side there is a storage room and a hallway. It's weird, it doesn't show anything else after that....But anyways the pair going to the right will walk straight and there is another storage room. And if either of you find anything then immediately report to us....while the other 3 pairs going to the right will stick together for a while. The right side leads to the train controls, another storage room and the driver's place...It's not really shown which path leads to which place but when we see different paths we'll split according to our pairs."

"Geez, it sounds complicated." Taehyung commented. "It's not really..." Y/n replied. "Ugh, even the map doesn't mention the places properly. I'm nervous." Jin said, expressing his feelings. "Same, but isn't it weird? Like how a train has different paths? Don't trains only have only 1 narrow path?" Jisoo expressed her thoughts. "It is...but we don't know if this map is correct. Just in case there is no storage room...no left or right. You guys will immediately come back...we can't risk it." Namjoon said, looking at everyone. "Where do we come back, if we want to meet everyone." Jennie interrogated. "We come back here." Namjoon said. Jennie nodded her head in understanding. "So who are our partners?" Hoseok asked.

[Present]

"Good luck guys." Namjoon said through the walkie talkie. "Good luck to you guys too." Y/n replied....

[Left Side]

"Phew, it feels like we're going on a mission." Taehyung said. "We are going on a mission!" Jin replied.

Jimin laughed, slapping Taehyung's back. "Stay cautious everyone." Y/n said. "Why are you always serious?" Taehyung asked, pouting. "Because this is serious." Y/n replied, without looking at him. There was silence. Complete silence, only footsteps heard. "Yah...speak something. It's so creepy." Jin said. "Would you mind looking back if there is something following us...?" Y/n asked Jin. "Y-yah, why me?" Jin asked.

Y/n didn't reply. Jin sighed, defeated. He swallowed his nervousness, imagining what could be there behind him. All kinds of scary monsters were running in his mind. Especially the shadow figure, he took a deep breath crossing his fingers hoping nothing was present behind him. He closed eyes, telling himself, "You're not alone, it's just a matter of moment, take a deep breath. It'll be fine..." he kept convincing himself, "Jin, is there anything?" Y/n questioned out of the blue, which made Jin flinch, "Um, I'm looking." Jin said, trying to gather his courage. Y/n sighed and looked back in instant. "There's nothing." She said Jin looked back to confirm what she said. "Yeah, there's nothing." He agreed. "You were scared for nothing, then." Jimin elbowed him in his arm. "Yah!....aish, whatever I'm letting you go this time." Jin said without arguing, he didn't seem like he was in the mood to give him a lecture.

"We reached..." Taehyung said. "Finally it took forever!" Jin replied. "It doesn't really take much time, we were just walking slowly." Jimin commented. "Well, let's investigate then?" Y/n asked. "Alright." Jin replied.

[Right Side]

"Alright guys, it's time to go on our ways. Remember if anyone hallucinates, inform us and try to shake them back into their senses." Namjoon said.

"Okay!" Hoseok replied.

"Be careful. And stay cautious..." Namjoon warned them.

"You got it!" Jungkook replied.
