Chapter - XX

[Flashback]

"Finally!" Jimin huffed when the door opened. Just as all of them were about to push the door open they heard another huge thud. "Shit! He's here, quick we need to go!" Namjoon cursed and hurried to push the door. The door finally opened, they all instantly ran inside and found themselves surrounded with water. A huge pool of water out of nowhere.

Y/n looked around her vision blurred to see some floating bodies, her friends that were trying to swim desperately to the surface to breathe. She unconsciously swam to one of the bodies which she guessed was Jennie. Jennie was looking around, probably trying to figure out what was happening. Y/n held her shoulder and Jennie turned around to see her. Suddenly Y/n started shaking her as if she was trying to show her something. Jennie would speak but she knows it would be a foolish attempt underwater.

Jennie, still not understanding what was happening, just looked at the blurred image of Y/n's face, and she looked around to see the others slowly losing consciousness. "Wait....are we all hallucinating?" She thought to herself. She turned back to see Y/n but she was not there. She started panicking thinking she died but soon realized, Y/n was trying to hint to her that it was hallucination...! She immediately remembered how Jisoo came back to consciousness. She tried it, she imagined the room they were in together. And opened her eyes, nothing... She looked around and saw that her friends were not there anymore, panicking, she tried it again, this time picturing the washroom since that's what Fay said would come after the door, with the last bit of hope she opened her eyes... and found herself with some of her friends surrounding her.

"She's back!" Hoseok exclaimed in relief. "Jennie!" Jisoo came and hugged her, "We were so worried...It was hard to bring you back, since I guess it is your 3rd time." Jennie nodded, breathing deeply and then she noticed, "Wait, our clothes are dry?" She questioned. "Yes, as much as it feels so real it was all in our minds." Y/n replied to her. "Oh...anyways we need to get out right?" Jennie immediately got up on her feet. "Yea. Anyways, where is Fay?" Yoongi asked as he looked back into the empty storage room.

"I don't know, this whole thing seems messed up. We need to leave as soon as we can." Jimin spoke up. "No, not yet. We need to destroy this whole train, station, everything!" Y/n said to everyone. "And! Plus we need to gather evidence that we were on the train..!" Jungkook told everyone. "But I think that's the least of our problems, if we get the evidence that shitty old man is just gonna take the credit, and at the end of the day what will we get? Just papers that have a lot of value as if we don't already have that." Jin said. Jungkook was taken aback by the aggressive respond he got from Jin, "Oh, sorry Hyung I just thought that it's what we came for so-" he was cut off by Jin again, "Oh- um no that's- I didn't mean to get angry sorry Jungkook." Jin replied to Jungkook.

"Okay....? So now that we're done with this lil argument can we plan on what to do next?" Yoongi asked with a little awkwardness in the air. "Yeah, we can." Jungkook replied to Yoongi.

"So what do we do?" Taehyung asked everyone.

"Let's go back to the compartment." Y/n said, walking past the washroom.

As they were walking back Y/n felt a different aura arise... she looked back to her friends and whispered to them, "Do you feel something off?"

"This place was always sketchy, Y/n." Yoongi said with an 'obvious' tone in his voice. "No, like... something is more off like as if...there someone else too...?" Y/n tried to explain what she was feeling when Jungkook held her arm which made her come to a halt. Before Y/n could ask anything, Jungkook immediately hid himself behind a wall calling others to hide too. Once everyone did Y/n finally asked, "What's wrong Jungkook?"

Jungkook gulped and pointed her to look in front of the wall, curious not only Y/n but everyone looked behind. "S-shit." Jennie cursed silently. "What in the name of Namjesus is this?" Jin said and he came to his previous spot along with others. Wondering what they were looking at? There were parts of black mist with a....not so certain shape. They were moving around like creatures crawling, looking at it, it definitely was looking dangerous. "Now it's nearly impossible to go to our compartment." Namjoon said. "But what do you think that was out there?" Jimin asked. "I think it's probably parts of that shadow guy, maybe he spread it everywhere...?" Jisoo tried to make sense of what she was saying, "True...I was thinking the same...But why would he do that though, I thought he would probably think we're dead or something." Namjoon told everyone, thinking out loud.

"As far as he saw us, he would definitely think we are smart enough to make it alive, since we out ran him, figured out what was happening here quick enough, and were able to stay safe for a while... So I think he came up with plan B just in case we were alive." Hoseok replied to Namjoon. "Yea...that makes a whole lot of sense." Y/n agreed with Hoseok. "But what should we do now then?" Yoongi asked. "I think at this point we have only 2 options, either risk it all and make it to the compartment or...back to the washrooms." Taehyung said.

"Both the options are risky though, what if he's waiting for us in the washrooms?" Jennie gulped with fear. "Heck... what if we just stay here?" Jin suggested. "Bro, that's even worse the monsters are just behind us, the only thing separating us is this wall." Hoseok replied. Y/n sighed. Suddenly Taehyung spoke up, "It would have been much better if Fay was here.."

"True...." Y/n agreed
