Cole screamed. His vision was black. The last thing he remembered was Soar slamming the butt of a gun into his forehead. "Hello!? Help!"
The sound of thunder caught Cole's attention. He spun and looked in the direction of where it came from.
"The Glade?" Cole breathed.
A wall of trees blocked his view. The same trees that were only a ways away from the monastery. However, when Cole turned around, there was no monastery.
"Guys?! Jay! Zane! Kai! Lloyd! Nya! Anyone?" Cole turned in a circle trying to catch a glimpse of anyone he knew. But he found no one.
Honestly, he would be glad to see even Soar right now, or that bear. Any company was better than none at this point.
Thunder boomed again and Cole looked back at the trees. One single bird soared above the treetops. The earth ninja stared at it as it flew in circles.
As he watched, a golden dragon shot up out of the trees to join the bird. They were roughly the same size, and the dragon joined in on the circling.
"Cole."
With a yelp, Cole looked down by the tree trunks. A small girl stood beside the biggest tree.
"Cole." She said again.
While Cole looked at the girl, the bird and dragon flew faster. "Who are you?"
She tilted her head to the side, "You're not supposed to be here Cole." But she paused and took a step forward, "Why are you here?"
"I don't know. I really don't know." Cole took a step back but tripped and fell down. "I swear I don't know."
"How are you here?"
"Please! No. Not again!" Cole cried, "I already fought Soar, wasn't that enough!?"
"Soar?" the girl walked over to Cole, he was laying on the ground now and too exhausted to move. "You know Soar?"
By this point, the bird and dragon were blurs in the sky. Cole stared up at the creatures and the girl. The wind was also beginning to pick up.
The girl had her hair done in braids, with purple beads on the ends. They blew in front of her face and she tucked them behind her ear.
"He attacked me. I thought he was a friend. Who are you?"
The girl said nothing. She looked off to the side, now that her hair was out of her face Cole could see a purple rabbit painted on the side of her cheek. He reached up to touch it, curious.
She grabbed his hand before he could touch her.
"What is that?" He asked.
"It's color," she looked up at the bird and dragon which were no longer recognizable. They went so fast that they were almost just a circle.
"Color? Just straight-up color?" Cole asked, he looked up as well. The wind was blowing even harder now. "Who are you?!"
She looked down again, before standing up. "You shouldn't be here," she said, before walking back to the trees.
"I don't even know where here is! I didn't want to be here!"
"I don't mean that," she looked back, standing at the border of the trees, "I mean you shouldn't be able to be here." She smiled, and walked into the trees, disappearing from view.
Cole looked back up at the blurry circle in the sky that used to be a bird and dragon. He squinted from the wind and struggled to his feet. "I need to stop getting myself into these situations."
The bird and dragon, which looked nothing like a bird or a dragon now, were getting closer. Causing the hole between them to get smaller.
As Cole watched, the world shifted. Bits and pieces started to break away. It was like Cole's vision was being stretched and distorted.
The bird and dragon were so close now they were almost touching. Strangely, they were untouched by the chaos. Though the wind pulled hard, they stayed in the same place. Though Cole's surroundings were pulling apart and moving in ways they shouldn't, they stayed the same.
It was almost like the entire area was glitching.
Cole's heart started beating faster, despite the wind and brokenness, he could still see the circle clearly.
Without warning, the bird and dragon slammed into each other, and everything stopped.
Cole barely had time to think before his entire world exploded, and everything went black.
