Biting my thumbnail anxiously, I rushed to Matty's house. I was constantly late, and I didn't want to make him wait for me again, so I hoped I could get there as soon as possible.

I let out a relieved sigh as the door of my close friend's house came into view. Whipping out my scroll, I sent a quick message to Matt making sure he knew I was almost there. I knocked, but nobody answered. Tentatively swinging open the door, I looked around and then noticed Matty's door was wide open.

I texted him again, though I don't know why, and walked over to his room, peeking through the doorframe. Quickly, I put a hand to my mouth to conceal a gasp. I don't know what I'd expected, but it wasn't an illusion of me. My brain fumbled for reasons he would have created such a detailed illusion of me, but before I could find a stable one, he gripped the front of "my" shirt.

My face was getting warmer by the second. Was he really about to do what I thought he was about to do...?

My heart skipped a beat when I realized I had no problem with it when he touched his lips to mine. I might even go so far as to say I wished I was that illusion in that moment.

Lifting my hand to my face, I wasn't surprised to say it felt like a hot stove, even as Matty pulled away from the false me. Cupping his cheek- its? their? our??- Matty smiled and murmured something before waving away the illusion to reveal me, lingering in his doorway, probably looking like a complete idiot.
