This story is beautiful and I feel so empowered as a woman every time I read it. I really enjoy how Aleida flawlessly puts everyone into their place, especially Jacob and Bella. I love that Bella seems to truly gain respect for and actually listens to Aleida. WOMAN ARE FORGED FROM IRON AND BLOOD Y'ALL. Better believe it.
It is so much fun reading Aleida's character! She just has so much depth and life to her that she never ceases to amaze me. Her relationship to the Clearwater children is lovely and heartwarming and her relationship with Emmett is heartaching for her. I love this type of dichotomy in her character. Her loyalties threaten to tear her apart from the inside out, but she still determines to remain loyal.
I love just how much Bella really learns to stand up for herself as she learns at what I lovingly call the School of Aleida. I so desperately wish to go to that school. I don't think I need to do a spoilers chapter for this one, as I feel I've been able to express my feelings and opinions about it in this one.
