The Right Swan: Edward LS

So I like a lot of this story, but I have a lot of issues with it as well. So Toni is Bella's younger sister and she has a traumatic past to say the least. Her and Bella do not get along at all, but Toni still cares about her. I really like how they showed how Bella's stubborness and low self-esteem can be dangerous to others when she uses it to excuse her nastiness towards others.
My first issue is with Edward. This is my main issue with the story overall and I never really paid it much mind until I reread it this time. I don't like how Edward flip flops between Bella and Toni when things aren't going well with Toni. He even uses Bella to try and learn more about Toni ON PURPOSE. I just didn't know how to feel about that.
I will say he is really loyal to Toni once he decided to be better for her and she called him on his bullshit. I just don't like some of the hurtful decisions he made early on in the story.
I liked how the ending worked out but I still need concrete answers on a few loose ends....second book?
