Plot: sci fi, spaceships ,aliens, and more

As the world crumbles and falls apart, we are left to stand for our beliefs. The evil, the sick and the good. Where do we stand in this world? As the ship left with hum all she could do was think. She left to work in her bar. As she did so she couldn't help but wonder. Why do they always invite people on the ship? Was it a peace treaty between races? She never asked, nor did she mind. As she worked she meant ,and learned about many cultures. Some races were amazing with their bright vibrant skin. Somewhere red, blue, green, yellow and more. Scales, feathers, she could go on. They were fascinating to see all the different portions. Never once did she question if it hurt to shed off the scales or feathers. She feared that it would be rude or ill nature to talk about. She never wanted to offend anyone so she wouldn't talk. Unless you started to talk with her. Most people came for drinks or for the games. Others came to watch, learn social behavior and so much more. As she flipped the sign waiting for customers to rush in. She simply types in some codes to start up the machine. For being so advanced. They always needed another security system. As people headed in they went to play poker, pool, and so many other games. As she handed out drinks to the people asking for them. She only wondered when new races would be found. How would they act seeing so many people in the same place? Sitting there wondering what she should do next. The paper work seemed to thin over the days. But it also amazed her that there was once an age limit to work in the bar. She was 17, an orphan that no one ever wanted. Once she was kicked on this ship, she managed to get a job. So there she was working there for only a month, and she nearly knew everyone there. Even the one android that would randomly walk in to ask questions. They became friends, a machine with human emotions. His piercing blank stare slowly became confronting. Something about him always amazed her, even though he didn't believe he had emotions. It was visible like the bottom of a creek, it wasn't always clear but randomly you could see the bottom. He would show concern without realizing, most of the time when he joked. He wouldn't realize until he finished talking. Sometimes it was amusing to watch him go from cherry to confused. It always managed to make her think, a machine that was emotionless gaining emotions. How would it feel? How would he look back? Would he remember, would he forget? It was always questions that kept her busy. If she wasn't cleaning she was thinking. As she passed out drinks, food, she couldn't help but listen in to conversation. "Did you hear they invited some other race on board,"voice 1. "I wonder who it is?"said voice 2. She nearly put the cups away, making sure that no one would spot her. Yet she still nearly wondered who it was. Were they a new race? Would they stop by? "I see you're starting off again. So what happened this time,"said Raph. The robot once again made her jump. "You know. You really need to try and get a job as an assassin,"said Rose. "I thought you would be used to me by now. But I guess you're simply a coward, who would've guessed,"said Raph. "For a machine you're good at insults,"said Rose. "You know it's an insult not compliant,"said Raph. "I forgot sorry,"said Rose. "You really suck at this don't you,"said Raph. "Well let me get a hang of it,"said Rose. "I've been giving you 3weeks,"said Raph. "Well I need more time,"said Rose. Before the robot could respond, he was cut off and called to the main part of the ship. Which he nearly rolled his eyes and left, most likely not even realizing his actions. Then again he always loves to win arguments. For one hell of an android, he sure was a child. A moody teenager. It also manages to brighten her day somehow. Yet she was working alone, sure she was used to it. But slowly she started to miss the little company she had. Then she saw it. There was a girl around her age entering the bar. Her eyes were different colors. The left eye was bright emerald green, and the other was gray. Her hair was jet black. Her skin was darkly tan, though she had patches of her skin which were white. It reminded her of a disorder called vitiligo(losing pigment on skin). The pattern going up both of her arms almost looks like cow patches. When she turned around,on the back of her neck was an outline of a bird flying. It amazed her how someone's skin could have such beautiful patterns. When she turned around looking straight in her eyes. She saw that her gray eye turned a deep brown. She must have a hazel pigment in her right eye. It reminded her of stars, so beautiful yet so mysterious. The lady walked over. She sat down. "How much is a burger?",she said. She sounded pissed, did she offended her? "It'll be 1. ,"said Rose. They switch out the items. "I'm Rose by the way,"said Rose. "I'm Drake,"said the lady. She nearly wanted to ask why she was there. But she didn't want her to leave so she left her alone. "Rose,"asked Drake. "Is there something wrong?"asked Rose. "No. But you know we could talk right. You don't have to leave,"said Drake. "Sorry. Most people want to be left alone," said Rose. "Well you're talking right. Let's keep talking,"said Drake. "Okay. But what about?"asked Rose. "Well? Why are you here?"asked Drake. "Well I got offered a job here,"said Rose. "Have you ever stolen the alcohol,"whispered Drake. "No. I would never do that,"said Rose. "Not even a quick sip. Even if no one is looking,"asked Drake. "No,"said Rose. "Well. I guess that would never hire me,"said Drake. "What,"said Rose. "Unlike you I would be drinking on the job,"smirked Drake. "Well you sure have more guts than me,"said Rose. "Jeez. Here I thought you were a secret badass. Well behind that smile of yours," said Drake. "Nope. Just a secret coward,"said Rose. Low snicker was heard, jeez laughing over nothing. Yet it was the best moment of her job. Well at least as long as she has been working there. For some reason when she left. All she could do was wait. Waiting for her return. After she finished her morning shift. She headed to the social area, the main deck where everyone was at. As she was heading to the stairs. She caught something out of the corner of her eyes, standing out of the corner was a figure. She turned head to see what it was. There was nothing, she walked straight into someone's shoulder. "Sorry. Are you alright?"asked a concerned Rose. "Watch where you're going,"the man snapped at her. "Is there a problem,"asked Raph. The man's death glare slowly faded. "Just pay attention to your surroundings,"said the man. As he left, she saw Raph's eyes filled with concern. "What happened?"asked Raph. "I thought I saw something. Looked away and bumped into his shoulder,"said Rose. "What did you think you saw?"asked sacred Raph. "I'm not too sure. I just saw a figure out of the corner of my eye,"said Rose. "Where,"said Raph. "By the corner that leads to the decking area. Is something happening?"asked Rose. "It's not important,"said Raph. He turned and ran towards the direction. What the hell is happening. She tried to ignore it. But the feeling she couldn't shake. As she watched the stars it only made her wonder. Is their enemy a spy? What, no, why are they here? What would freak out the public? "I didn't think you would just stare at the stars,"said Drake. Rose jumped a bit. "I didn't mean to scare you,"said Drake. "I just spaced out,"said Rose. "Well since you're off work mind giving me a tour,"said Drake. "Sure thing. But you know you could ask someone else if you wanted to, right?"asked Rose. "Yea. But you're the only person I know. And don't stare at me like a freak,"said Drake. "Why would I stare at you like a freak,"asked Rose. "My skin is one thing then again my eyes,"said Drake. "Why would someone stare at you like that? I think it's beautiful,"said Rose. "Well it's weird. People usually don't like difference,"said Drake. "Well. Who cares what others think. You're unique by your beauty,"said Rose. "Well most people don't think of it like that,"said Drake. As they finished the tour. Rose lay awake. It's like she knew Drake her whole life yet she just meant her but why?
