As she opened the sketchbook to draw land scape. She saw the water moving. Swaying with something. She shrugged it off and assumed it was a fish. She heard something getting out of the water. She stop and put the book down and turned to look. Their she saw a beautiful women. Leaning on the dock. Her hair covered her chest. Her slim arms resting on the dock. Her piercing brown eyes looked into her. Like trying to find a answer. "Who are you." The question I ask was barely even heard. The lady simply hummed. " I'm Reine,"said Reine. Her voice was soft and soothing. "Why are you in the water?" She looked into my eyes. "What's your name? What are you drawing?"asked Reine. "My name is Jenny," said Jenny. She avoided my question. Why? Was something wrong? Is she naked? Does she need clothes? "Are you alright?"asked Jenny. "Of course dear,"said Reine. She took her right arm off the deck to push back her hair. The one side was behind her back. She had swim suit top on. Well maybe she just like water? Am I bothering her? "Dear are you going to stare,"said Reine. "I'm sorry. You just have leaf in your hair,"said Jenny. She simply flogged the leaf out of her hair. "You know it's been awhile since I talked to someone,"said Reine. "Yea. I never had friends before,"said Jenny. A chuckle escaped her throat. It was soft and soothing like her voice. Everything about her was aluring. "I like you,"said Reine. They spent the rest of the day talking. Then she left. The next day she came back. She brought paint. Hopefully Reine allowed her to paint her. "Hey can I do a portrait of you,"asked Jenny. "Sure just let me see once your done,"said Reine. They spent the rest of the day talking and joking. As she finished the small painting. In her sketchbook and showed her. "Well I never thought you would be an artist,"said Reine. "It's not even done,"said Jenny. "It doesn't matter, it's the best picture I've seen,"said Reine. As the days went by. Curiosity grew, why was she always in the water? "Hey Reine,"said Jenny. "Yes,"said Reine. "How come you're always in the water,"asked Jenny. "Can you swim,"asked Reine. "Yea. Why are you asking,"asked Jenny. As Reine grabbed her arm. Pulling her in the water. She turned and dived into the water. Showing her long fish-like tail. "I didn't know you were a mermaid,"said Jenny. "I thought you would be screaming by now,"said Reine. "Why would I be? You're beautiful,"said Jenny. She dragged her into a kiss.
