Bhool Bhulaiyaa (Pt. 1)

I always wanted to write a horror comedy like this and finally got the time to so here it is! This part is more of comedy and includes everyone, but the next part will be focused on KarEena. Anyways, chup chaap padho

Team Mahila Police Thana was in Haseena's cabin for the discussion of a case. Apparently, multiple FIR's had been received in the nearby police stations about suspicious activities and theft in a resort. A small unit of the police force had investigated in the resort but hadn't found anything that would lead them to the culprit. So, DSP sir had assigned the task to Mahila Police Thana in the hopes that they would be able to solve the case.

HM: Plan yahin hai ki hum uss resort mein jaayenge civilians ki tarah taaki kisiko humpe shaq naa ho. Din mein bina dhyaan akarshit kiye jitna investigation ho sakega karenge aur raat mein poore building ki talashi lenge. Baarik se baarik cheezein pe dhyaan dena hoga taaki koi suraag humse chhut na jaaye. Is that clear?

ALL: Yes Maddam Sir

Everyone left to pack and agreed to meet back at the police station at 9 in the evening. At 9:00 pm, they loaded the baggage into the trunk and left for the resort in a rental car, so no one would suspect they are police officers. The resort was located in the outskirts of Lucknow so it was already dark when they crossed the border. Suddenly, Cheetah stopped the car.

HM: Kya hua Cheetah, gaadi kyun rok di?

CC: Maddam Sir network nahi aa raha hamare phone mein. Aur hum dedh ghante se isi raaste pe aage jaa rahe hai toh aage kahan jaana hai yeh nahi keh sakte

KS: Haan Maddam Sir, hamare phone mein bhi network nahi hai

Everyone else checked their phones too and weren't able to get signal.

PS: A-Ab Maddam Sir? Ab kya karenge? (scared)

SS: Waise Karishma madam, aapko pata hai...bilkul aisa hi scene uss horror movie mein aaya tha joh pichle hafte release hua tha. Woh log bhi aise sunsaan raaste pe bhatak gaye the

KS (getting the hint): Accha? Phir aage kaa hua?

SS: Phir...chaaron taraf hawa behne lagi...aur jaanwaron ke aawaz aane lage...oooooooh

PS: Ahhhhhh (closing her eyes)

Everyone else stifled a laugh and Santosh continued with her story.

SS: Uske baad..andhere mein do aankhe dikhi...aur ek aurat saamne aayi...safed saree, lambe kaale baal, haath mein laalten, payr mein payal, aur dhaka hua muh...woh dheere dheere chalke gaadi ki taraf aa rahi thi (Haseena shook her own anklet for sound effects)

PS: *gasped*

SS: Phir...woh chalte chalte gaadi ke peeche tak pahuchi....aur andar aake peeche baithe do logon ka gala pakad liya

PS (holding her own neck): Ahhhh bachaao, bachaao hume! Jai Hanuman gyaan gunsagar- ahhhh bachao hamara gala aahhh

Everyone else burst out laughing and after some time Pushpaji realised that she had been pranked. She tried to stay angry, but seeing her kids having so much fun it was impossible. Just then, someone really came in front of the car looking exactly the same as Santosh's description. They knocked on Pushpaji's window, making her scream.

KS: Kaa hai Pushpaji, kahani toh khatam ho gayi ab kaahe chilla rahi hai aap?

PS: B-B-B-Bhoot hai wahan (pointing to the window)

KS: Ama insaan hai woh, kaanch neeche kariye shayad woh humko raasta dikha sake

PS: Nahi, agar usne hume maar diya toh? Humko bhari jawaani mein nahi marrna...abhi dekha hi kya hai humne zindagi mein

All: Bacha bhi kya hai Pushpaji

Pushpaji frowned as Karishma switched spots with her and opened the window. The person outside was just standing still, not saying anything.

KS: Suniye...yeh Maharaja Resort kis taraf hai?

SS: Excuse me, Chudail ji, main Santosh, aapko sunai de raha hai?

CC: Uff yeh maa- (KS glared at him) maasumiyat ka samay bilkul nahi hai. Santuji kaam pe dhyaan dijiye

KS: Ama yeh toh khade khade so rahi hai, yeh kya khaak raasta dikhayegi humko

HM: Isse accha hum iss jungle se bahar nikalne ka raasta dhoonde. Resort nahi toh kamsekam shehar mein toh pohoch jaayenge.

CC: Ji Maddam Sir

Cheetah started the car and continued forward on the only visible road. A while later, they reached the resort, which was located in an abandoned city at the edge of the jungle. Everyone cautiously came out of the car and looked at the resort cum bhootiya haveli.

HM (gulped): Yeh pakka wahin resort haina

KS (teasing): Kyun? Darr lag raha hai aapko?

HM: Nahi, hum nahi darte...humein toh...Pushpaji ki fikar hai

KS: Haan haan sab samajh rahe hai

They went inside to the reception, which looked fairly normal except for the fact that it was dark everywhere. They received the three rooms they had booked, which were on three different floors.

CC: Toh Maddam Sir, pehla room hum aur Santuji le lenge-

KS: Nahi, tumhare romance ke chakkar mein investigation adhura reh jaata hai aur upar se aaye hai bhootiya haweli mein toh kahin darr ke maare baccha paida na hojaaye

Everyone looked at her, shocked.

HM: Ab aap itne confidence se bol rahi hai toh aasan baat hai ki apne tajurbe se hi bol rahi hongi

Karishma turned red and everyone looked at Haseena in shock.

HM: Khair, Karishma Singh ki baat toh sahi hai (all looked at her in shock) nahi, hamara matlab hai ki yeh investigation hume jald se jald poora karna ho toh behtar hoga ki Cheetah aur Santosh alag alag rooms mein rahe. Toh Santosh aap Pushpaji ke saath rahegi third floor pe, Cheetah tum second floor pe rahoge, aur bache hum aur Karishma Singh toh hum first floor pe rahenge

CC: Maddam Sir aapko na personal lebel pe request hai...yeh naam se toh resort hai lekin dihaave ke shamshaan...humko aisi jagah pe akela mat chodiye please hume kisike saath rehne dijiye

BC: Fikar not Nithalle, jiske peeche pad jaaye uske muh se nikle hay hay I'm Billu the Spy

CC: Aye narbhakshi daanav, tum kahan se prakat hojaate ho? Insaan hai ki aatma

BC: Tu chup reh Nithalle, Maddam Sir, main aapko iss invesitisisi-

HM: Investigation

BC: Haan, usme aapki madad karne aaya hoon aur Cheete ka akelapan door karne aaya hoon isliye main Cheete ke saath rahunga! (doing his chashmah action)

HM: Perfect. Toh sab apne apne kamre mein jaaiye, abhi raat ke 1 baje hai, hum 2 baje milenge aur investigation shuru karenge. Clear?

All: Yes Maddam Sir

While KarEena were going to their room, Karishma decided to tease her best friend a little.

KS: Waise Maddam Sir, aap chahti toh Pushpaji yaa Santu ke saath bhi kamra share kar sakti thi...hume kaahe chuna?

HM: Aise hi...kyun, aapko hamare saath rehna pasand nahi?

KS: Nahi...par kahin aisa naa ho ki aap raat mein darr jaaye

HM: Darr? Woh bhi bhooton se? Impossible. Haseena Mallik kisise nahi darrti

Just then, they stepped on a creaky plank on the floor which made a creepy sound. Haseena squealed and jumped into Karishma's arms, who giggled as quietly as possible.

KS: Aap toh keh rahi thi Haseena Mallik kisi se nahi darrti (teasing)

HM: Chup rahiye aap!

Haseena made a grumpy face and got back down on her feet. She turned her face to the other side and walked ahead, while Karishma shook her head at Haseena's childish behaviour. They unlocked the door and entered the room, putting their bags away. KarEena quickly scanned the room, but saw nothing suspicious, so proceeded to change and get some rest.

Haseena went into the bathroom to freshen up, while Karishma undid her tight hairstyle. As her long hair tumbled down her shoulders, a mischevious idea clicked into her mind. A while later, Haseena came out and didn't see Karishma, confusing her. She didn't see the room key either so assumed she would have gone out of the room. Haseena began putting her things away when she heard a loud, creepy laugh behind her.

HM: Aaaaahhhhhh
