"Tyler's been hit" those are the words I wish to never come out of anyone's mouth. "He is at Saint Maria's hospital" Nick says while out of breathe "also we got your brother back, and alive, he is just unconscious at the moment." He says finishing what he needed to tell me.

"Thank you Nick, I really appreciate it" I say sobbing "tell Leo I said thank you also please" I try to get out while my eyes are raining.

"Ofc Ally, I'll meet you at the hospital" he says and I mutter an ok.

I start getting Ryder ready. I got him dressed in a red and white flannel and dark blue Levi's jeans. I throw on a yellow summer dress and take my hair out of a bun... I'm going makeup less because I just wanna see ty.

I get into my black Range Rover after I buckle Ryder in his car seat. I speed down the road and head for Saint Maria's.

I get up to the desk "Hi what can I do for you?" The desk lady says.

"Hi I'm here to see Tyler Gates" I say trying to hurry up.

"Any relation?" She asks

And before I could even blink I hear a voice behind me.

"She is his wife" Nick says and grabs my hand while I carry Ryder.

We get to room 327 and Nick opens the door. I see Leo eating a bag of Doritos, but when I look to my left, I see Ty all hooked up to machines. It brakes my heart just looking at him.

"Has anyone contacted Ellie?" I ask and they all look at me like I had 7 heads. "Elizabeth... Ty's mother?" And all their faces turn into an 'O' the shake their head 'no'.

So I call her and tell her what happened, she said she was at work but she would be here in the morning.

Just then the doctor comes in and says "oh hello, I didn't know we had more visitors"

Nick saw the way she looked at me so he said "ya this is Tyler's pregnant wife Alison Gates with their almost 2 year old son Ryder." And she gives me a dirty look even more but decides to hide it. Even tho everyone saw. I hear Leo snicker while sitting in the corner eating his Cool Ranch Doritos.

"Well I'm doctor Renee Anchors and I came to inform you that your husband" she said husband like it hurt her to say it " he had gotten shot right below his heart. If it was up 3 more centimeters, he would've passed. He is in a coma, I suspect he will wake up but there always a possibility, he can stay here as long as you want him still in life support. Even if he is still in a coma in 20 years, we are able to keep him here, he just might have different doctors along the way" she explains... Well at least she didn't let her jealousy get in the way of her job.

I thank her and I sit in a chair close to his bed. I grab his hand and hold it " oh my god, this shouldn't have happened" I say crying.

"It's not your fault, they had your brother, and since Tyler is in love with you, he wants to make sure your happy" Nick said while rubbing my back.

I shake my head while crying "but I'm not happy Nick" I raise my voice, but lower it since Ryder is falling asleep "not with him like this, he has a family on the way, we need him" I say and Nick hugs me and rubs my back. After he does Leo come up and hugs me.

The rest of the depressing day we sit there and wait for things to happen... Little did we know nothing would.
