"I keep seeing that van. Within a week I've seen it near ten or so times. It started that Friday night when I missed the sleepover. I left the house in anger, I got scared, and when I went inside this... this feeling of relief hit me like a brick but my stomach was still turning. For two months it's just been... stalking me. Bruce is missing now, I overheard him say he was afraid someone was stalking him at the game, and look at where I am. Someone is stalking me" Oliver rants, throwing his hands up and trying to make any sense of this situation.

"What does it mean?" Robin asks

"No idea. Not something good I'm guessing" Oliver answers

The trio sigh and look at each other, all either biting the inside of their cheeks or lips. July 17th was horrifying, pulled into a small, cold room for hours on end to be interrogated and treated as anything but a child worried for this new missing kid. No one wanted to relive that. It'd already turned to August so fast, time just flew for the three.

"Did you try telling someone?" Finney asks

"Yeah. No one would believe me" Oliver scoffs, "I'm scared to go anywhere, I live in fear now"

"Ask if you can sleep over here tonight" Finney suggests.

Oliver stands up, walking out of Finn's room to call home over the landline. Robin and Finney are left alone, sitting on the hardwood floor of the brunette's bedroom.

"Still crushing on him I see?" Robin speaks in a quiet tone as Oliver leaves the room.

"Shut up" Finney rolls his eyes, "He'll hear you"

"Just get it over with" Robin shrugs, "He isn't gonna hate you if he doesn't feel the same way, he isn't that type of person."

"Easy for you to say. I'm not confident or outgoing like you" Finney looks down at the floor, fidgeting with his shoelaces.

"Dude. I know I shouldn't say this but he obviously likes you. It's so incredibly clear, Finn" Robin rests his hand on Finney's right shoulder, "It's okay. Do it when you're ready, but you might miss your chance"

Finney nods, lifting his head back up as he heard Oliver's footsteps coming closer towards his room, Robin lifting his hand off and away from Finney. The curly haired brunette enters the room, sitting back down with a juice box in hand. He nods, popping the straw through the plastic and sipping on the refreshing beverage.

Robin glances from in between the two and makes an excuse to leave and go home, smirking towards Finney as he leaves the room. Robin was fully aware of what he was doing and as of opening the front door he smiles, hoping that Finney would fess up already.

"Wanna ride our bikes for a bit?" Finney asks

"I guess, just don't let me get kidnapped" Oliver shrugs, standing up and following Finn outside just in time to see Robin on his bike, trailing down the street.

The boys get their bikes, mounting them and setting off the opposite direction Robin was heading, deciding to just ride around the neighborhood instead of on display in the middle of town, alone. The two stay relatively quiet as they ride around the neighborhood, sun-stained by the setting sun over the horizon. They just enjoyed each other's company as for once that day, Oliver didn't feel uncomfortable or scared as if he felt his every move was being watched.

The setting sun dusted an orange onto everything it touched, making the two boys feel warm inside as they biked next to each other, just enjoying the moment. Finney wished it could've lasted forever, but everything has to end.

"Finn, I'm scared"

"Why? Is something wrong?"

"Can you close the curtains?"

Finney hesitantly stands up from his spot on the floor, walking over to the large window, looking left and right out on the street. The street looked as normal as ever, vehicles parked in driveways and streetlamps all up and running, illuminating the road. Finney closes the curtains, turning back to Oliver, walking over and sitting back down.

"Anything?"

"No. Does it feel any better?"

"A bit" Oliver whispers

Finney does a small 'grabby-hands' motion as Oliver engulfs him in a hug, starting to sob. The boy wraps himself around Finn like a koala, his cries muffled as he buries his face in the crook of the brunette's neck. Finney wraps his arms around Oliver, tangling his fingers in the boy's curls to comfort him.

"When school starts, it'll be way better. You'll be around people and there's no way someone would try to do that in the middle of the school day" Finney tries to reassure Oliver.

"Yeah" Oliver rests his chin on Finney's shoulder, "Thank you"

"Yeah, yeah of course. It's what friends are for"

"To protect them against their own fear and stalkers?"

"Yeah, I mean, who else will?"
