Oliver and Robin watched as Finney did his best to escape over the two weeks he'd been trapped. The two boys couldn't bare speaking to him, deciding they'd be his last call, together.

Finney could only think about his sister in the moment, he didn't even know how she was doing let alone if their dad was still hitting her. He was worried of what the situation was at home but at the same time he needed to worry about himself.

The Grabber was only manipulating him further and further so he'd be more vulnerable. Finney knew this and through all he'd been through so far he wanted to believe it but knew not to.  He lay on the mattress trying to sleep, but his state of dehydration kept him awake as his body begged to be fed.

The phone rings, Finney sitting up and looking up at it for a moment. He picks it up, holding the phone to his ear, leaning against the wall.

"Hey Finn. How's it hanging?" Robin's voice speaks over the phone in a scratchy tone.

"Robin? Oh my God" Finney speaks, tears welling up in his eyes as he blinks them back.

"Hey buddy, don't cry"

"I'm not"

"I can see you, you know."

"You can?"

"We've been watching over you this whole time"

"You have?"

"Mhm"

Finney chokes back a sob as he speaks to Robin, sitting back down on the mattress, wiping his eyes. Another voice appears on the phone, greeting the brunette in distress.

"Hey, Finney" Oliver speaks, his voice scratchy sounding due to the phone.

"Oliver? Holy shit"

"Hey"

Finney chokes out a sob, covering his mouth as he does so.

"Hey, don't cry, dude. It's okay. We're okay" Oliver tells the boy. "Look. He's planning to kill you today, you have to kill him"

"How? What? I can't take him!"

"Yes you can, Finn. You are strong. You can kill him. I promise you"

"I can't" Finn cries.

"If you can't do it for you, then do it for us" Robin speaks up. "Please, Finn. You have to do this"

Finney wails, setting the phone down, pulling his knees into his chest and burying his head. He couldn't kill the man, he wasn't strong enough, he couldn't bring himself to do it. He wasn't scared of becoming a monster for killing him at all, he just didn't want to fail, and have the same slow, painful death Vance had described.

"Finn. Please. You can do it" Oliver tries to reason with Finney as he cries.

"I can't. I can't do it"

The phone levitates from off the mattress, Oliver holding it on the other side so Finn could grab it. The boy raises his head, looking right up at Oliver even if he wasn't there, like he knew he was, taking the phone.

"Raise the phone, take a fast step back, step forward, step back, and swing" Robin instructs Finn, "Fill the receiver with dirt."

Finney shakes his head in disagreement, in the middle of a mental breakdown by now.

"Finn. You have to do this. You're the only one who can hear the phone. You can't let it continue" Oliver pleads, "Please, Finn. Please"

Finn stands up, phone clenched in his hand, wiping the tears from his face.
