CATS POINT OF VIEW

I opened a door and finally made it outside. I felt the rain hit my face and breathed in the air. Something foul is afoot.

If this was an Umbrella black site prison then by all means. The t-virus had been released some kind of way.
I kept walking around looking for signs of life. Just more destructive paths and fires. This place was attacked.
By who is the question?
I held my gun up hearing a distant growling noise.
I was using my senses to detect any type of monster nearby. So far it was nothing.

With another few steps my body froze to the sound of gunfire. I looked around trying to pin point where it was coming from.

I saw smoke rising and heard the gunfire near the prison entrance. Survivors! I took stance and ran fast through the rain. Every drop felt like ice that blended with my skin. The wind at my ears and legs. The rush of Adrenaline. My eyes were glowing bright and I leapt into the air soaring the air landing on my heel. I breathed into the force and saw guards fighting against more zombies. I didn't have time to save them when my senses alerted me to danger.
I immediately ran for cover as military jets flew above bombing the prison to ruin. Great This place is getting raided, which makes my job a lot easy.

I jumped down surveying the destruction. Zombies lurked here too. "Time to get dirty. I aimed my gun at one to my right and squeezed the trigger making it stumble into the burning car.

I aimed forward squeezing the trigger with ease killing another zombie chewing on a victim. The bullet went through the eye bringing the corpse to its end.
I would gag at the sight of someone being eaten but I hated having gotten used to it.
It still felt wrong and terrible to even see something so vile.
I kept walking through a courtyard dispatching zombies left and right.

I squeezed the trigger one last time killing another zombie and exhaled.
I reloaded my magnum and realized I only had seven rounds left. I looked around for a armory or something. I needed better weapons.
Something to at least keep me going before I get my hands dirty.
I looked for any signs to tell me what part of the prison I was in.

It was just a courtyard that lead to the front entrance. I came out of a lab into
The wardens office through here. So I haven't seen the other buildings yet. I leapt into the air landing on a car cracking the glass a bit. Odd. This part of the prison is cut off by a sky bridge.
Maybe going in there will give me a clue or something.
I walked up to a door but when I tried to opened, it was locked. I yanked the door open watching the hinges and screws snap lose.
That was fun I smiled admiring my strength. Luckily there wasn't no zombies here.
I checked the place out searching cabinets and rooms.
I pulled open a draw and saw a gas mask. Better take it with me because I don't fully know of my situation here. I strapped it to my pants and kept looking around. Luckily I found a spare box of ammo for my firearm.
I breathed relieved but needed to keep going. I couldn't linger too long or the dead will have found me eventually.

I entered the other side of the prison and most of it was in shambles. This wasn't your standard Calvary raid. Someone attacked this prison and from the looks of it. It was not for good business.
I kept walking until I saw a zombie mauling on another victim. I backed away wondering if I was the only one here.
No! Don't give up Cat. There is someone still here. I'm sure of it.

I kept moving and saw I was approaching a cemetery. Great there was no reason for me to go in there. My senses triggered me to leapt away from machine gunfire inside the cemetery.
I landed on my ankle and hissed in pain.
"Dammit!"
I leaned on the door and saw the gravestones. Please stay in your graves I really don't need another issue.
A door smashed opened and a woman came out.
"Hold it right there!"
I aimed my gun and didn't want to fire
"I'm not a zombie lady just woke up here on the side"
She walked forward and I kept my gun up. It was Claire!
"Your Claire right?"
"What are you doing here?"
Wait? She knows me.
"You recognize me?" I asked. "I knew someone that knew you"
"Was his name By any chance Bell Masaki?" I asked. "No but I'm assuming that's Jp's twin brother. Your Cat Valentine. The one he was looking for"
She stretched her hand towards me and I took it. I stood wincing at my ankle. "Your ankle?"
"Some asshole took shots at me behind the door on the tower"
I pointed behind me. "Can you walk?"
"I'm good"
I nodded. She was friendlier than I remembered. "Cat I don't know how to tell you this but Bell-"
"Isn't dead. I just spoke with him 30 minutes ago. It's a long story"
"But how? He died in the blast when Raccoon City was destroyed"
"The multiverse has its perks. He's alive just preoccupied at the moment"
I told her. "I didn't realize it" she said shaking her head smiling.
"How is Jp?"
"I don't know. The last time I saw him was in Gatlin. When Umbrella Framed him"
I was saddened at the reminder. Then behind her was a zombie and I quickly drew my gun pulling the trigger.
The blood splattered us and the zombie fell back with a thud.
"Thanks"
"Anything for a friend"
Suddenly zombies started tearing through the graves. "Can you fight?"
"Of course. Time for a little girly action" I said smiling.
"That must run in the family" Claire joked. "You have no idea" I said aiming my gun.
