"Here's your matcha boba, your total will be three dollars fifty cents." said Y/n as she then received the money and put it in the cashier, "Thank you, come to Shironeko again soon! Arigatogozaimashita" she exclaimed. Working in a matcha bar was harder than she thought, especially when it's a Saturday night in Little Tokyo—it's like trying to help each kid who rushed into the ball pit from drowning with orders piling on and on. Well, it is better than the apocalypse that happened around 3 months ago with aliens and the sky being torn apart... let's not dig into that.
"Great work today, Y/n!" Casey Jones, her work partner, and the new kid in town smiled as he then gave her a thumbs up. "Thanks, you're not too shabby yourself." She replied, wiping the tables as the last customer exits the store; the tiny bell chimed on the door as it flicked open and closed. Stretching her arms up high, she then clocked out while Casey decided to work overtime.
The cold breeze greets Y/n as she took a deep breath, gently smiling and starting her journey back to her high school dorm. Hands in her favorite jacket's pockets while strolling in the streets of NYC, stars twinkle so gently and glamorously underneath her. Some faint chattering was heard but hey—it's New York. Everyone is always awake at any time of the day or night. As she reached her hand out to the sky, fantasizing that only if she could reach them until... something landed on her face.
Weirdly enough, it was warm. As she reached for the stretchy yet oily surface of whatever the thing was, instantly slapped it onto the floor as she couldn't believe what she saw. "A... pizza?" she cried out in confusion. Soon a whole tray of pizza belly-flopped itself to the floor to her surprise. Y/n soon found herself glaring at the building where the mysterious raining pizza came from.
"Aw, Leo! You dropped our pizza!"
"Sorry, Mikes! It was an accident,"
"'NARDO, I USED COUPONS I SAVED ALL FROM LAST YEAR FOR THAT PIZZA!"
"Woah, cool your pipes, Donnie! We have another entire tray! It's just pizza,"
"It's just pizza... that landed on my freaking face! Now I have grease all over me, ugh...!" Y/n groaned, scrunching her eyebrows as she stomped back home and decided to ignore that absolute mishap until she noticed two mysterious figures.
Even if was dark, she could still see a very faded and translucent silhouette of the figures in front of her. One was slim and tall in shape while the other had a monster-like huge build, both also have a strange orange tattoos on their faces—looking similar to feet. Both suspiciously carrying piles of paper out of the paper factory that was closed, "Hey! What are you both doing!? And why are y'all... purple...?" she questioned as both of the mysterious figures dropped their piles of paper down. "Uhhh... we ate a lot of sweet potatoes...?" One trailed off as Y/n suddenly saw four more figures jumping in.
Each of the four had bandanas around their faces like masks. Each in blue, red, yellow, and purple while all four looked as if they were armed with weapons and an unusual build. As if they have a shell-like backpack behind them.
"Oi! This ain't the place for art club!" a voice boomed as one of them pointed an odachi-like object at the two purple men. "It's you reptiles again! Finish them!" one of the purple men growled as the shadow-like figures engaged in a fight.
"What's with the paper? Back to the origami plan? Guess you guys don't learn at all, The purple one scoffed, swinging some kind of rod around the 'villains' you assumed. "Maybe you guys should've taken some notes!" The one in blue jerked, slashing his swords continuously,
"Anyways...Ralph, Mikey! Take care of Foot-face! Donnie, let's kick this Twerp back to his own goal." The blue one confidently smiled as all then bounced into combat, different kinds of weapons clashed and smashed on each other as Y/n was mesmerized by the action.
